Kick-butt cycling is back with a sequel! Only played 5 or so tracks, but man it's the same good ol' fun!
And to mirror what one comment said, yeah wife is going to hate me for ignoring her for a few days
And I stop playing the game. Getting killed on stage 17... so I check the walkthrough... good ol' tass never let me down, first hint "you should do the play tricky on level 5-6 to get the extra lab points" ok fine... wait they're locked... WTF!? Reset points? Nope can't do that... Start the game over from scratch? Uhhh hello!? I'd rather not have to go searching for the save file and delete it...
Sir, we just got an excess of energy. Very well lets funnel it all into the cannons to make one shot one kill devices. Very well sir, defending this planet should be a snap now. Ok lets go defend the next silo and bring the cannons on line. Ok sir. FIRE!!!! Wait what? Why don't the cannons work any more? Ummm the old parts rusted when moved?
It'd be so awesome if auras stacked (hint hint hint ;)). Cleanse Warlock seems a bit unnecessary, but then again the way I play if one is needed I simply stun the tower and then he's not necessary anymore, throw in a goblin instead. Overall though awesome game.
Fun game, but "AI" gets distinctive advantage since it can sell and replace turrets instantly (assuming it has funds), where even on slow it takes time to click on each one and drag one to the spot. Ideally a hot key would be good, however dragging ontop of an existing structure should just replace it and cost/give the difference
Great can't restart with another duck. Last night, beat the "black duck", sitting on my throne, decided not to play any more. This morning, I have my same duck, no choices, my stats are no longer maxed, I can't beat the black duck, and when I try to train it tells me I can't train any more.
POOP ON YOU BEEFY DUCK!
A nice little diversion. Quick hint for new players: Don't level up your towers unless absolutely necessary, they get experience for each time the fire, not how much damage they do. The less damage they do the more likely further towers get a chance to fire as well. Exception to this might be the temple (fire beam), once you get more than 1000 experience switch to area effect tower (burning tower), each "shot" tends to give significantly more experience than the beam does.
UGH!!! Jumped and got stuck in the ceiling... couldn't get out of it at all. Level 30.. finished all the quests, ready to finish the game... bleh! Talk about a wasted time.
kind of neat how seeds in water will make coral reefs (I'm guessing that's what they represent)... however 2 fish will quickly multiply and consume it all.
Not sure I dig the whole Ice-Nine concept though, one piece of ice shouldn't freeze a whole ocean over :D
Very relaxing app/game. I wish there would be some way to adjust the parameters of the game, specifically how fast the star "evolves", also would be good to not have the system start to rotate if you're just watching it. I like tiny details that you see, like a desert plant sprouts cactii, water planets pop up palms, etc. Doesn't seem individual items have gravity though, as planets get very close to one another but don't see the orbits vary at all (unless of course they collide). Collisions are a bit iffy too, always seems to slow the planet down, you have a fast planet catch up to larger slower one and collide from behind in the direction of travel and the planet slowed to a crawl rather than got pushed forward. I would love to check out how the physics were programmed on this, if anything to give creative critique on what should be changed.
24 planes to choose from? Pisses me off when they label stuff like this but don't tell you you have to go to THEIR website, and sign up for a service in order to get them.
Angel: Real pain in the butt level, again key here is to not try to kill the angel, but to destroy the castle. Lord of Fire works good, again use shield to protect yourself when he does his ninja slashes across the screen. Try and force your unit all the way to the castle, I have had the best luck with the Lord of Fire because he moves in the direction he attacks. Just keep trying to force it close to the castle eventually the castle will be the target and he'll attack it ticking off damage. You most likely won't have enough MP to keep shield's going, so you will probably have to do this 2 or 3 more times to destroy the castle.
There's my strategy for how to beat all the bonus levels.
Baal: Get really close with the "Lord of Fire" titan, cast shield to avoid damage while you get there, once close to him he'll do the spin attack back and forth and the sword can't hit you that close. You might die eventually due to the other units, but if you do, wait for respawn, then repeat. He's got a TON of hitpoints. This is one of those levels that makes this game excel at not needing to be played, I walked away for 30 minutes and all was good.
