I've stopped rating games too quickly as the results seem to be similar to that of the media. "BEST GAME EVER, 11/10." Half-way through, a majority of people are complaining about something.
Great game, a well done sequel considering it isnt quite the same game type as the first. However, there are some issues. Until the end, there isnt a lot of reason to replay stages other than to get those stars you failed to acquire the first run. While I dont like being forced to replay the first level until I have everything, the difficulty could be ramped up a bit in the levels before the boss. The next issue being the boss. Most bosses in games either have a smaller move pool that can be overwhelming if the player is unlucky, or a set move order. This boss has a large number of abilities that can all be very powerful, and it's entirely random. While there arent any rewards for the beating him, it would be nice to get as few lives as possible using different strategies. All in all, I enjoyed it and give 4/5.
After seeing comments on this "You won" situation, I've decided I will not reset to this "point of no return". Hopefully this isnt a hindrance to getting all the achievements.
Your equipped items aren't counting as items in your inventory, so it doesn't read that you've ever bought anything. That's why the inventory keeps disappearing.
I feel there could be "Endgame" Achievements for completing sets of regular achievements, as well as the classical "Earned all achievements" Achievement. (How many times have I used the word "Achievement[s]")
Souls have a bit of a bug right now, as they sometimes get stuck at zero. This is usually solved by making sure you have all of your special achievements (the inventory one keeps dropping on resets.) If all else fails, try resetting again.
As with a usual click/idle game, it takes a few HOURS for the idle part to truly set in. The theme is nice, but that's all it has going for it in my opinion.
