Day 1: I have decided to buy a toy pickaxe in real life and try this out. I am nervous about attempting to hammer away a globule of poo from the toilet, so I think I will start with paper instead. It will be a long journey, I'm afraid.
Once you have all the non-enemy upgrades including rampage, just keep getting meat and firing bombs. Sooner or later, you will get so large that you are just waiting to die from the map explosions and mines coming along, because anything else that spawns will die instantly.
Pro tip: If you see an enemy walking without a health bar (this may be difficult at first, but if you catch it early, it saves you a "F*CK!" moment), pause the game and restart. There is a bug that creates an invincible enemy that does not attack. Because he can't kill you, you do not get your gold.
I'm surprised by the half intelligent AI. On the one hand, it's better than on some games. Other the other hand, it's still bad. If you can't kill enemies on 1 side of the map fast enough, they will walk half the screen just to get to the guy you intend to kill yourself. While it still works if you keep your upgrades up to par, it requires some replay. And other than going OCD and doing the challenges, there is little replay value.
I acquired the badge as soon as I got on the game, even though I had never played it before. Not like "I played this so much I got it" but like, as soon as the loading screen came up it gave it to me. Weird bug, I don't deserve this badge yet.
With the effort it takes to get a low score, there should be a losers board. We can all stare at it wondering "How the f*ck did he get such a low score? Is that even possible?"
I'm probably like our protagonist here when it comes to the keyhole. Door locked? Window. Knocking? Sure, let's take a peek. Scary eye and the door unlocks? Gotta go there at some point. Might as well be now.
Come and take the NO UPGRADES CHALLENGE! You can do anything except buy upgrades, so feel free to buy new boards, get new kongpanions, farm carrots, and poopmonger your way to the highest dps!
Thanks! It;s mos-def not perfect but I am so glad people enjoy it. A sequel will ideally address a lot of the balance issues! Best, -Tim
