Is there some magic going on to prevent unsolvable positions? I've blazed through a dozen levels without getting 'stuck' with no matches showing. I kinda like it, though I know some people would want the frustration.
Pieces are too random; I filled up half the board with trash pieces before I saw my first 'left-half-of-bottle-neck' piece... and I need to use seven of these to finish the level? ugh.
I find myself choosing the non-combat encounters every time, to make sure I can survive the boss fight, or just to get the quest reward faster because it is larger than any on-the-way rewards. It's a bad sign when the best strategy for the game is to avoid the game-playing areas.
The framerate is abysmal. It was over sixty seconds from the start of the fade-in of 'Act 1' to the fade out of 'defend your base', and half of that was a featureless black screen, no models to animate. Reloading takes twenty seconds to complete. Yes I have 'hardware accelleration' turned on in my Flash player.
aww, bugged! I got into a fight with a merchant galleon in the Sea of Blades, and none of the buttons were clickable. Also, the enemy took me down to 0 hull points (no animations on attacks), but the match did not end.
