It was just the right difficulty up to level 100, with about 3 very tough levels here and there. Unfortunately, the last level is so ridiculously hard to beat, in that it forces the player to memorize close to unavoidable attack patterns, and causes quite a bit of lag (for me anyway). This made it practically impossible to get to the exit in the 2 seconds that it is available and made the rest of the game, by a completion/high score stand point, a waste.
I found this game to be a very good take on a fairly simplistic genre. With the right amount of avoision and collection (even if the collectibles do less good than it seems), well generated maps and nice sounds and music, the game was enough to keep me occupied for a while. The graphics and shining bullet are also well done additions. 4/5
It's almost sad that this wasn't made online multiplayer...It could have proven to be pretty epic with 5 kongers trying to knock each other out. While it isn't multiplayer outside of one computer and while it has repetetive strategies used by the cpu's however, it gets a 2/5.
The game has an interesting concept and is, all in all pretty well executed. The illusion cubes do a good job of adding to the difficulty quite a bit, but a few more special effects like the wind would make the game more interesting. A few secret levels or secrets in general would make the game more interesting and re playable. 4/5
Hahaha...Very funny, Armor games. So, I sell both items aquired from Clemons, enter the fight and Sonny says, "Just our luck to have everything break on us." And then, I can't move, the enemy levitates, then stops moving...Sick joke. >_>
Er...This game appeared as a Kongregate within Kongregate for me...Not sure if someone copied the coding, or my comps glitching, but this is pretty interesting :P.
Very good game, and the badges working today is a plus as well. I liked the block system and three hits mode was pretty fun, once I got the hang of it. The only really negative aspect was that, almost half of the stories and story battles were unnecessary repeats using different characters. Some NPC, surprise bosses would have been and the animations for the fury battles should have been skippable 4/5
A pretty decent game...It actually runs pretty well on my comp, which fails at the newer games. The upgrades actually being decent is nice as well. However, the way in which the enemy ships attach onto yours and kill your men (which you have way fewer of than the enemies at around level 11), gets very annoying. I think that after saving there should be an option to replay, but buy different upgrades. This would allow for more strategy on the player's part. 3/5
