Your level design isn't appropriate for the capabilities of the physics engine. Especially level 24 is pushing it; my penguin can fall through the chain, leading to "solutions" defying the mindset of the level. To make this work properly, you have to either stick to simpler levels or work on the physics. Despite that, the game was fun. I gave it 4 stars.
The instructions weren't entirely clear. Other than that, it's an ok game, but it's been done before, and better. There are some original elements in this implementation, but they I don't think they work well with the concept. Anyway, fun. 4 stars from me.
You know a lot of love went into an MMORPG when it feels more like a text adventure (or interactive fiction, however you want to call it). In MMORPGs, it's very rare that the story/humour/puzzles/dialogue takes over the grinding/levelling/battle mechanics. Your mileage may vary, but I really like this style. And the humour is mostly in good taste. All in all, Fantasy University gives me the impression that its developers have respect for the player. This is one game I'm certain will keep me hooked for some time. I only hope that there won't be any more connection problems for Kongregate, as a lot of us don't have Facebook. 5 stars from me; I'm really enjoying FU, and dare I say I'd like it to get a couple of badges?
The hint told me that the toilet paper is in the master bathroom, but the only locked door is in the master bedroom, and to open that I think I need to help the superhero, who wants to get rid of the guy that's currently in the bathroom, so I need the toilet paper... what am I missing?
Puzzle mode: When a bird drops a present and I click on it it takes up a move, but I don't see a way to forfeit the present... so if the present is dropped where I want to place a rock, I can't avoid losing a move (and possibly the game).
The mere existence of this game/brings Edgar Allan Poe to shame/he'll soon rise up out of his grave/to take Hamumu as his slave!/5 stars, wish I could give you mooooooooooooore :P
I encountered a bug: On level 11, it wouldn't show me the trick. Other than that, it's boring as a game. It's only interesting as a presentation of how many magic tricks are done, if you're curious about that sort of thing. But there was really no point in making this presentation into a game. Interactivity didn't offer anything in this case. Now maybe if you could actually lose by doing things in the wrong order, then maybe we'd have something... but still.
I hear you, Barfo! I was HORRIFIED at how good I was at this game. How much of my lifetime have I spent playing games? How much of my memory has been wasted in remembering them all? I think I'm depressed now...
