OK, my group is walking around like rockstars with all these cheerleaders making this tournament look like a circus, if I were everyone else, I'd think my team was a bunch of douchebags.
For those concerned with the hit % in battle: The "%" is the number you must beat on the opponent's d100 defensive roll. For example, 50% means you must meet or beat 50 on their defensive roll. Yes, there is a 50% chance of beating this roll, however, when your opponent is also using an attack you are each rolling the same die. Assuming you both must meet 50, it is reasonable that your attacks may fail while your opponents hits (he is getting the "better" part of the defensive roll) that is why you can see streaks of 10 misses, etc. However, this is effective in the short term, in the *very* long term an attack with a 50% hit rate *will* hit 50% of the time, even with the opponents rolls.
PS: Letrune: "May there be an updated-whatever version, where we, as animals, try to escape...? :)" That's the thought, I think people feel less comfortable with a game with this kind of message when they're the ones oppressing someone.
Game was pretty cool, I liked it, might I suggest, though, that the concept of earth animals trapping humans and keeping them as workers and experiments probably drives people away from the game. I get the message, you might want to try subtlety next time, think Planet of the Apes.
This game ruined my night last night. I was sitting at home, watching TV, getting along with my roommates when, BAM, I run into this game. Next thing I know, I'm finishing this game at midnight and can't go to sleep for the next 3 hours u_u 4/5 [Full screen issues, room for improvement, e.g. picture and explanation of the weapons and creeps (speed, HP, etc)]
Pretty good game, overall, great atmosphere. The gameplay was fantastic and intuitive (at least for righties). The leveling and gating systems were well done, but it could have used a few extra enemies before the earlier gates in case something went disastrously wrong and the player lost a crystal or two. Agreed that the clues *did* make it seem like something interesting was going to happen in the boss's chamber, but I got over it (there was enough foreshadowing that it was just a boss fight.... The game clearly had a lot of ethics thrown in it from "you've got to exterminate everything to humans can live here" to "population crisis was temporarily resolved"; first, people like to be on the winning side of (any) ethical debate and I just kinda felt dirty with every bird and domo-kun that I killed. Second, that's why a twist or choice ending would have been *really* excellent, I mean the sky would be the limit :D
Can we make the snake game use arrow keys instead of mouse? Every once in a while (read: when it was least convenient) the snake would go the opposite direction of my click.
@Acerbic, no the kids were him and his sister as kids (notice how they were wearing the same clothing then as they do as adults >.< ), the redhead from part 2 is his sister. Since the blonde knows that I doubt she'll force him to stay away from his family forever.
Another day at Satan Valley High School, you know, same old story, girl tries to get guy but is surrounded by geeks who won't take "no" for an answer.... Game is playable, though, agreed, levels don't actually get harder as you progress, though my finger does kinda hurt from the last level (also a by product of the "falling directly behind" bug and the "movement as absolutely too random" problems mentioned elsewhere). One more thing, Games2win, I am familiar with a lot of your games and they're all about avoiding geeks. Come on man, that's basically what the internet is composed of. Know your audience. How about substitute "monsters" for "geeks", eh?
