1) If it still takes 5 hits to kill a zombie at the end, you missed a power up.
2) My biggest problem with the final boss wasn't staying on the platform or avoiding the ray (just double jump over it when it is on your level, I also had the spread rifle), but catching the platform right at the beginning. With the way the screen jerked around, I would occasionally miss the platform.
@burningwings136, sometimes the game glitches and the king goes invisible. It's likely he's still there, you just can't see him. It happened to me, and I shipped him out the next turn.
@MrDeepBlue: "Oh and not to mention that "war is bad bawww" is hardly a poignant story in itself you know... " kind of a strange comment coming from an Offspring fan....
Agreed about the star requirements. I was never sure what I did right in the side-missions that got me gold stars. Sometimes it seemed I did the same things and still got less stars.
@Procyonpi. Agreed, in the second game there was at least 1 map where (on hard), if you didn't make the correct moves in the first round, the rest of the map was impossible to beat. Either I'm a great guesser or this game was a bit easier.
Very good game. I hate being the picky guy, but I want to point out to the game designer that "Nitrous" refers to nitrous oxide which is not explosive or flammable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrous_oxide
OK, Item switching here is about the most tedious thing I've ever done in an RPG. Also, the targeting/attack system makes melee weapons virtually worthless maybe try working something out with these?
