Well my thoughts on this game are already in the comments so I'll just say it needs a way to resize. Most games scale with browser zoom level, but this one doesn't and it's so small it's hard to play.
You don't need to complete each page to get to the next. Just do one puzzle from each column (3 total) and you'll open the next page. I tried using the architect badge you get for beating the Church puzzle, but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe I was doing something wrong. If you're going for the Kong 30 point badge, the points per minute are probably better on easy compared to normal. I like this game despite it's kinda wonky controls. I'm still playing after getting the badges.
If your screen is clipping trying right clicking to open the Flash context menu and selecting "Show All." You might need to do this near the edge of the game screen (for this game). This will account for any increased zoom level you have in your browser.
This game is super exciting. I click attack about 10 times which takes about 5 seconds and then I get to wait 40 minutes to spend another 5 seconds playing. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll level up and get to play for 10 seconds. How can you expect new players to put up with that nonsense? I'm on this site to play games, not do something else while a timer expires.
I would probably love this game if it didn't suffer from crippling slow down. The audio queues for the archers (for example) aren't even remotely consistent. Getting two in a row like that is death sentence. It turns to a "mash and pray" instead of proper timing. Giving up on level 2 after reading other people's complaints.
Perhaps the displayed percentages for the search parties are off, because I didn't lose one survivor the entire game. Especially odd since so many here are saying how unlucky they were with it. High melee stats seem to help for search. The search stat is ironically secondary. Really, once you get the Remington (rifle), you don't need to search much more as it's clearly the most effective weapon. Some nice semi-auto rifles come out later, but a clean head shot is faster than spraying bullets, even at close range.
This is essentially a glorified idle game. The basic premise is fun, but now that I've advanced into it, I find myself needing to wait for resources to accumulate or upgrades to finish or quests to finish, etc. When timers are on the order of hours you've lost me. That's not fun. I want to play your game, not wait around for days for things to finish. So when you cut it up, it's a money grab for building shortcuts, and I don't support that format.
I would rather have a small alert for a level up and not have the game completely pause and interrupt the flow. Normal mode was pretty fun, but endless mode was a pain. The 15 minute mark onslaught is an eye roll.
Easy mode for agents (and pretty much everything else too): Get the 2 perks Improved Gadgets and 00 Gadgets and buy the Active Barrier. During play just keep S pressed the entire time. Obviously the best armor and helmet to reduce wild swings in +/- hp. I'm doing another run through now to see how early those perks can be obtained.
The secret agent guys are impossible for me. Apparently I picked poorly for perks and needed more dodge/evasion (like that dash -> 100 dodge one). From reading top comments I thought I could gain all perks (minus 1), but I guess there's a cap at level 30 for a while. So essentially my game is over. I was getting into it for a bit, too. If I'm missing something on those agents, I'm all ears.
I had thought this was a great game, but after playing through I'm liking it less. Essentially the game is a cakewalk except for the ninja, which just makes it redonkulous. A 5 second vanish on a Boss Ninja when it takes less then 5 seconds to get to your gems means you can't get the best ranks. Forty levels down the crapper. Now I have to grind the Demon path to see if the extra Meteor damage can kill him before he gets there. Really bad game element. If that were adjusted and the overall difficulty raised to compensate you'd have a great game here. Still, I'll give it a 4/5.
Every game in this series suffers from monkeys that fail to hit targets. Every damn one. They have yet to fix this issue in 4 games. It's like they think this is some feature to be praised. I can watch a monkey miss multiple times in a row just because a balloon crosses his body the wrong way. Terrible.
The glider is such a piece of shit. Most of the time it just aims you nose first into the ground no matter what angle you were facing to begin with. And stop making me rebuy groupies. It was annoying in the first game and it's annoying now. You're just making your game even worse of a grind.
