This game is really quite nice. Except in the aspect of gameplay... You don't really have a game without gameplay, you know. >_> Its just repeat repeat repeat until the enemies die.
Oooh. Pretty fun, although basic. The level cap is fine to me, but I really wish for a skill reset button. Lets you experiment without having to start twenty different games.
Haha, this game is funny. I found a hilarious glitch, though... tab+space a couple of times and you will JUMP ROOMS. Oh yes. Cut my time down to almost nothing to complete it. Which was good, seeing how I played this game three times already.
I like how each ending only tells part of the story, and lets the reader piece it together. The back button and the ending list were really convenient. Music was good too.
Mmm, the music. Like it a lot. The flask in the bar was kinda... ridiculous, though. One of the two things I couldn't find by myself. The other being the bell, but that one was me being stupid. =P
This game still has the same old incomplete game feeling... where's the timer for skills? Where's the option to make units not attack and just move, or hold their ground instead of running off? It doesn't really give you many options for control... And why is there no option to adjust sound in the pause menu?
And in the end, when I really think about it, this game everyone is calling deep and all, just seems to have a simplistic view on things. Besides pointing out what I find to be ridiculously obvious. It did make me think a while, though. In that it has succeeded at least.
...the voice is really messed up. The game is vague, though. I can sense my history affecting my view on this game. Was the point just to bring it to mind? Who knows...
When the arrows go off the play screen altogether... there's no clicking them any more before they suicide off the screen. >_> Got a little old turning everywhere to out turn enemies, though. Different stat'd planes would be nice to control.
Also, the whole pausing to use powerups thing was a little less fun than actively using them like in them previous versions. Cut off the... well, continuity or something.
