Such a mediocre game. Sound, gameplay, everything. >_> Boring and more annoying than anything else. Especially the part where any random thing can sink your ship. I wonder whose idea it was to give badges to this game?
This game was plenty fun at first... until the end, where it started getting nintendo hard. I mean, you have to beat this really fast time with a bumpy track and a crappy character AND the stage can screw you over whenever it wants. And one mess-up, and you have to restart. I've just spent like two hours on that final lair and I still can't beat it... let's not forget the map that lies, too. >_>
I like the design, overall. A nice, calming game. I just wish you could restart a hole without losing all your progress, especially with those collectibles that you simply cannot go back and get. >_<
I really don't get what's so great about this game. Its clunky, has a crappy camera angle, and sometimes you just spin out of control for no good reason whatsoever. Even the AI seems to be out to get you and gangs up to push you around. Most of all, it feels SLOW. Those racing cars might as well be garbage trucks. What's so "best racing game ever" material about this? In the end it ends up being a "hold turn and accelerate" game like all the rest, except it gives you a giant pain in the arm after playing it. That and massive amounts of frustration. Makes me wonder if this is the first racing game some of these people have ever seen...
I can see what you're saying about how else besides random and all, but what that ends up with is a game which you have practically no control over. On the harder levels you only win if the game allows you to win. Sometimes its just impossible because the guards constantly hover over chokepoints/target. Lack of retry button sucks too, because there have been many times where I saw that I couldn't possibly make it what with all the guards standing as they were. The ultimate achievement just magnifies the problem. 30 seconds, seriously? You don't even have time to wait for the guards to look away if they just so happen to decide to stand there.
LOL, the game will still go on with stage 33+ after you've completed the game when you press play... allowing you to go on FOREVER. Level 33++, undefined, infinite clones of one of the early stages. lolololololololol
One hit restart button would be nice, although you can restart using the down button. People blind shooting should also be a lot less accurate, good god. It'd also be nice if you could start shooting while you come out of cover. Speaking of which, it'd be nice if I could take cover in certain parts of the hotel too, but.. eh. A few other weird things like a hyper-accurate gun missing even with my reticule directly over the target, in long range. And the pills somehow bugging out and not giving me back my gun after use once. Bugs in challenges too. Pistol hit/missed is reversed. Hostile kill counter doesn't count properly, resets between waves. Easier to just headshot someone and die for score... Also eventually the enemies spawn to a point where the second you come out of cover you're hit at least twice. A few typos too, but that's just me nitpicking. All in all, nice for a flash game. Pity its so short.
How are the people shooting blindly with on arm hitting so damn much? Small hitbox + same accuracy as everyone else, apparently. I wonder why everyone just doesn't do that, being the case... Being able to take cover in the corridors in the hotel would also be nice. Some challenge scores also need a little work. 1. People killed in the hostile one don't register properly. It's actually better to just headshot one guy then die for the score. 2. Missed and hit counters are reversed for the pistol one. Still, all in all, pretty fun game, haha. Its a pity its so short.
This game is an RPG that's posing as a shooter... It's all fine and good until you realize that the higher levels and the biggest guns (mostly the guns) win out whatever strategy you might want to use. What can you do when the other person kills you in two hits, and you need six to kill him? Money is ridiculously hard to get in the beginning to get a good gun, too. Its like the game wants to squeeze $$$ out of you for you to even stand any sort of chance killing other people...
Good god, some parts of the game are just so evil I ended up kinda liking it for the evil, player-hating humour. :P I'm terrible at rhythm games, but still.. I kinda like this one. Keeps its difficulty while being quite forgiving. Kinda varied music too. Keyboard controls are awkward though. I wonder what dana means by the last song...
