The game is working now, so thank you for that. I currently have 1.0k wood, the cost for my next wood production upgrade is 1.0k, but I can't purchase the upgrade since I don't have enough? Keep on updating and I'll keep playing.
The open "No, stop trying to sell me your crappy game" doesn't actually get you to stop. How many times do we need to choose that before it actually gets you to stop?
The game has some lag issues. It'll lag, the zoom to catch up, rinse and repeat. As far as game length, it's not very long, which isn't terrible, there just isn't much replay value after you've beat it.
Movement works so thank you. But if the game looses focus, it still locks up. Also, it would be very helpful to have some way of knowing if you missed any pears, something along the lines of 25 of 27 collected. Or whatever. I've made it to the end of the level, but nothing happens, so I don't know if I missed some, or if that's it. I'll keep checking back.
Thank you Olug for your feedback! You're very kind.
Now I released the version 0.2f of the game ;)
It's the same level, but with the following improvements:
- improved player’s input/movement
- when reach the end of the level it shows the results (and restart the game)
- added an image showing the pears that lose when the damages incurred
- solved other minor bug fixes
Sorry. But now, it does. Maybe in a previous version.
But now you can use "A", "D" and "Space", "M".
And also... this isn't a final game, because it's only my first alpha released. I started to learn about game development very recently.
These points are right on. When you have to give focus back to the window because you had to click through several confirmation windows is frustrating. Add in the fact your timer starts right away, and the torch seems to have to hit a very small area to light the wall torches is enough to make me go elsewhere. Give it some tweaks and I'll give it another go.
The badge says I need to get 170 bits and I have 150. But the purchase screen says I have 248 bits. Obviously something is off. Also, clicking doesn't always activate my gun. Sometimes takes several clicks before it starts firing.
The save needs to be implemented asap. No fun losing all your progress. Also, the game doesn't seem to run when it's tab doesn't have focus, also frustrating. I agree that the balance needs to be fixed. Once you have shredders and baggers their speeds don't line up so you either have way too much, or way too little of something. Also, the ability to read the tutorial again would be nice. I clicked off one of the tabs and lost the tutorial before I read it all, now I can't get back without losing all my progress again.
Need to be able to change your mind on which battle to go into without having to exit to the main menu. The magic book regularly shows numbers for spells that aren't available. Would be nice if the current unit's range is shown when highlighted or selected. Game is alright, entertaining so far, but could use more polish.
No need to assign attack ships they automatically defend your other ships from enemy ships. :)
