First of all, your game links to another website, big no-no. Makes it look stolen, and it increases the difficulty of playing it. Second, the instructions are incredibly difficult to read with red text over a green background. In the chat dialog, the light gray over dark gray is also difficult to read, and rather small. The slide of the pedestal feels odd, like it's on ice or something.
Excellent points. When I have the time I plan on making things easier to read by changing the colors.
As for the pedestal sliding, it is made that way so it is easier to push over spikes or past other enemies. You get used to the sliding pretty fast the more you play. Not only that, but you can control the pedestal's movements with the WASD keys. Though you must be standing close to it when you do so. This will allow for you to move the pedestal if it gets stuck or is sliding somewhere you don't want it to go.
Hope This Helped :)
some thoughts, having the background for the purchase area the same color as the path makes it look like the heads can travel along it. it would be nice to see the range, damage, fire rate, etc of the various towers. and what are the light brown squares on the path? are those way points for the heads? all in all it looks to work, but needs lots more information about the towers, bad guys, and some upgrades to keep people's attention. good start though.
The sell for cookies doesn't sell once, it sells all. And I don't see anything about chips regarding what they're used for. Also cost for upgrading the chip factory would be nice as well. Feels like I'm just flat out missing something important in order to this one.
The deal with the cookie become more interesting when you get more cookie.
You need of a minimum of 25 to deal with the Grandma but 40$ / KFlop
You need of a minimum of 6K to deal with the NightGlove but 50$ / KFlop
At the point I'm at, everything is still very basic, so I can't comment on later game play, but these are my thoughts. It would be nice to have some sort of scrolling based on the arrows, or scrollbars, or something to give a bit more fine control. And a bit more in the way of rules and restrictions would be nice. Is the little example diagram showing restrictions on how to build? Or just examples? Can I have a ton of food in one spot, or does it have to touch the house through a road or be immediately next to it? Overall I'd say it could use more work but is very promising.
It's a hidden picture/puzzle game, not idle, or incremental. Needs it's tags updated. Also the visual different for a key is so slight it really is difficult to find them. I'm not saying make the keys bright pink or anything, but having a slightly higher contrast between them and the background would be nice.
The small size makes it difficult to find anything. A mini map would be helpful, as would increasing the game size. I can't find any villagers, so I have no idea if assigning them jobs works or not. If I try to build something and I can't a message stating that would be helpful too.
scroll bars in the play field, needs to have some resize code or something. the arrows aren't captured, so it scrolls the entire page when you move around. plus the game play is super slow and jerky. it had incremental as a tag, but no idea why.
The right column is showing up fully now, so thanks for that. I'm finding the same as the other players, the speed you gain stars for upgrades is SUPER slow compared to how much they cost. Then way things have progressed with me I'll win a few levels, then have to grind the same level a dozen times to afford the next upgrade. I do like the look of the game, but the balance is off. Keep it up and I'll check back soon.
