@acey, click the weapon before you start a run and you select which of your unlocked weapons you want to use. The only thing you can't seem to undo is the ally upgrades (automatically starting with a fireteam and the upgrades to their weapons like the flamethrower)
why does my manual clicking do more damage than the auto-damage on some ores, but on others it's the reverse? shouldn't it be consistently one or the other?
3rd boss (the ghost thing) is unkillable unless there's some kind of hidden ranged attack that's not explained; I have the best armor, weapon and fury mode and still can't land a single hit.
I assume this is a glitch: I've killed a handful of alphas in story mode using my pistol and gotten nothing. First alpha I kill in Mutant Meltdown and I suddenly get awarded the "I'm the alpha" achievement.
Not sure if this is a glitch or not, but killing the Grand Necromancer (or whatever he's called) reduces the starting health of all undead, including YOUR undead (summoned skeletons and allied spirits.)
@ayala, you also need to go to the build screen and build at least one bin for the resource. assuming you've also done that then it's a probably a glitch
@ayala, new resource buildings are unlocked by investing in lower tier resource buildings. fabric/cloth is unlocked by upgrading the tannery on the city screen for example.
good update: shortening the quest times was definitely a necessity. But crafting times weren't really that bad, especially considering how much faster and easier it is to burn through the higher tier resources now, though I guess it gives swapping workers a stronger argument (I didn't do that nearly as much as I should have before). Resources still need to be shown in the city screen; even if not the whole resource menu, maybe at least show how much of something you have when viewing the respective building?
Game lags even on the worst quality settings. Earn 2 Die had a similar "freeze" effect on occasion but there it was at specific moments like when you bashed though a big barricade, not every 2 seconds trying to go up a small hill.
Trader achievement seems to be glitched: I've sold more than 2k gold worth of items but most recently I sold a single 10.2k gold dagger and still haven't received the apprentice trader achievement, 3 in-game days later.
the rankings are a percentage of how much you contribute to your town compared to how much you make. I don't know if it's just gold or if it includes adventurer and item contributions though, or if it is just gold sales or if it includes quest rewards
2 possible glitches: 1)crafting does not seem to freeze when interacting with customers but it does when issuing orders to workers (unless it's my imagination, can someone confirm this?) and 2)if you check the city log for customers, I have the 4 adventurers I assigned to a non-repeatable quest listed as being gone on a quest, but the other 3 I assigned to repeatable quests are still listed as being free (one of which is completed which may explain him but not the other 2). Also it says that the customers out questing will not visit the shop, but I have had at least one of the 4 come in each day; the ones on repeatable quests don't come back in until their hunt is completed though.
I think it would be nice that if before purchasing special items there was a little confirmation asking if you want to buy the item and what they are used for. I have 3 hammers and an hourglass from achievement awards but I don't know what to use them on(hammers I can see be used instead of gold for contributions but beyond that)
Big improvement. 2 suggestions: 1)Re-evaluate the cost of upgrading resource bins versus buying new ones. I know that shop space is an obvious factor but I hired a carpenter after the first day; her only available recipe uses 2 wood. The initial bin only holds 5 (enough for 2 of her clubs and one for the worker) and upgrading it by one costs 5 times as much as it costs to just buy an additional bin and double my resource capacity. Just seems odd to me. And 2) a way to restart in the settings menu, like in the first game. I understand if that's not a feature with this as just a beta, but please implement it once the game goes live.
The controls seem to not respond or lag randomly (particularly noticeable at lower speeds) not very frequently but often enough to be a serious annoyance. Also, on rare occasions, if I have a wind scroll active near a gate the ninja sometimes stops shooting or shoots a single ninja star off at an odd angle missing several of the zomblings and then suddenly tossing out a half dozen and killing the ones behind him that were left. Not a big deal, just a little odd.
Tip for getting X coins (total amounts, not the missions that require you to get it all in one run): payouts from the slot machine count towards your total gain.
