Too few levels, rails too short, too many obstacles, too many negatives. It is like you took Luxor and did everything you could to make it look like a fun game, but make it an utter pain to even contemplate playing.
The biggest issue I see with this game is that is does not recognize solutions have the time. Quite often, I am forced to replay a level 3 or 4 times before it recognizes the solution.
... What the hell happened to my save? This is the third time my saved game disappeared from this game. I don't have that problem with other games on Kong.
I do not see why people are complaining about the tables. It mimics drpgs quite well. Whilst I am not well experienced in them, I do know that having an 80% chance to hit does not mean that you will always hit 8+/10 times. I once conducted an experiment flipping a coin. I did it 100 times. The probability, as most know, of getting either heads or tails is 50%. So, this makes me ask why I received tails as a result for the first 16 flips? After making 100 flips, my results were heads: 48 times, tails: 51 times, unknown: 1 time because the quarter rolled under the fridge and I could not read the result.
OK, why am I losing 3 cycles per second? Either I missed something in the instructions (very possible. My mouse has been double clicking no matter what lately) or I have uncovered a glitch.
OK, so... what are the towers? I see them, but it would be nice to know what they do. I would rather not play test and trial and error for 3 hours to find out what 1 tower does, and even then I likely won't pin point what exactly it does.
It is nice to see the "adventures are deathly afraid of the exit to the point that they will go out of their way to kill themselves" glitch is gone. Sure, took me 56 days to complete, but the fact that I was able to complete the game this time makes it all worth it. My last file was at 219 days before I said fork it.
Game could be better. For one, the claw could be less chaotic. It has taken me five tries to beat the first level because the crane/claw kept on picking up my cargo and tossing it AWAY FROM THE CONVEYOR BELT. The game should not work against the player in that regard.
I hate jingle bell rock. I can play the other ones without difficulty, but Jingle Bell Rock is a random bitch slap to the face while walking in the park.
Stupid realistic heroes. They refuse to go to floor 15. It is almost like they know that they game will end if they reach it. For crying out loud, Heroes, you are already overpowered.
Game is pretty good. The diving birds serve to be more of an annoyance than a challenge, since they seem to appear randomly. I have not encounter one in the same place twice. And given the fact that you need to react faster than what is humanly possible in order to avoid them... This game only gets 3/5 from me. I really wish I could give it 2.5.
OK... Mission 3 keeps on freezing on me at around Wave 6. All creeps on the screen at the time freeze in place, but cannot be hit. If I am firing with the hero at that time, he stops and can no longer fire, but he can still move. Any towers firing at that point cease firing and cannot fire any more. Any creeps yet to appear on the screen and and towers that weren't firing act normally.
