How can I go back and look at which medals I have earned? I know I have seen a few pop up during/after fights, but I can't find a place to look at them...
Really like that if you mess up on a level, the board flips or rotates so you don't just copy what you had before. Nicely challenging game (it's getting too hard for me to finish in my tired state and I find that exciting!)
I think the questions that ask you to identify a game and the name of the game is in the screenshot (Factory Balls, Detective Grimoire, etc.) is pretty dumb - shouldn't you get a different screenshot or blur it out? Otherwise an amusing game proving I have spent WAY too much time on Kongregate :)
Great little game. I was frustrated when I came back to complete the game later and I thought I lost my progress. Boy was I happy to see the level select in the pause menu! Not the most intuitive place for me to find it, but glad I didn't have to start over - kept it a 5/5!!!
Don't know if it's just the really slow pace I played the game (lots of overnight let the whole thing run) but I maxed out all the levels before I even finished off the 5th boss. Takes the fun out of the game when I now just have to let the whole thing run out without being able to upgrade anything... :(
I'll try to address this in a balancing patch once story 2 is released. I think the end game HP is too high and not enough offline time is spent attacking bosses
I had a bug on the last screen of level 3-3 where the ruby at the end disappeared. I had to quit the level and start over again :( Not that any of the levels are that difficult :)
Yeah that many of the combinations are hilarious (how to get lawyers?) Boos that too many combinations didn't seem to make sense even after I found them.
Excellent comment - the only thing I thought was missing was some sort of acknowledgment that I had completed everything and got all the stars - minor disappointment for an excellent if retro looking game. Would love to see some more.
Too bad the first one was better for so many reasons already mentioned including upgrade system, computer cars not affected equally by track. I don't know if I would get used to the new control feel but am not willing to put in the time to find out...
Two suggestions to make the game even better:
1) adjust the motion of the man so he doesn't slide after landing a jump (this might be a design choice that I just disagree with)
2) Have a level select screen to replay certain levels. Why should I have to wait until I finish all the other levels to go back to one I skipped.
Have to agree that the difficulty curve is too steep - frustratingly difficult before upgrades, ridiculously easier after. And I was extremely disappointed that I maxed out everything and NOTHING happened!!!! Would it be too hard to let you "win" when everything is maxed out?!?
Lost first round a couple times to learn the controls then beat the rest straight through - had to reset points to get correct upgrades - stun bomb is ultimate win - just not fun enough to want to play again.
