Getting the gold on the 5-level mode is actually quite difficult. I've scored 52676, but haven't yet achieved it. Kinda like lightweight crew, it's difficult to achieve high scores with low resources.
To those, and there are many, who say that the game is all luck: yes, there's a lot of luck in the game, but there's far more odds than luck.
It's about playing those odds, skewing them to your advantage. And a bit of old-fashioned psych-out, too.
Walvren: "so few," not "so little." "Few" refers to numbers you can count, "little" to general quantity.
Also, about half of the characters in the game have one or more 100% accuracy attacks... but they're often comparably weak to their other attacks (Corny's/Cain's voidstream, Ambrosia's bleeding ritual, etc.). This is why I like Yoshi: two 100% hits! :)
Add an 8 card deck game. Have requirements for access: at least level 8, win ratio of 2:1 or better. The more cards, the more skill involved. Since it's for a higher skill level, reduce timecount from 1 minute to 25 seconds. This will be a *strong* test of skill for the best players in the game. It'll also necessitate a reduction (for this version) to the power of mass attacks, I think.
Would be very nice if the required bosses were in standard rooms, or we were told what they looked like. I hunted for around 25 minutes without finding a "Tri Guardian."
