Just barely surviving is easier said than done! If this game is balanced it should not be in any way that makes the early levels any harder. Go ahead and make level 500 nightmarishly impossible, but leave level 20 as it is. 4/5 stars.
This is a great concept and well executed, but there is tons of room for improvement. The swinger could be animated in more detail and the cave he is swinging through could be more elaborate. I love how much skill is involved in this game and how it rewards you for practicing and getting better at controlling this little guy. Very satisfying. 3/5 stars for high potential.
The only problem with this game is the tight camera. It's so close to the boarder that you can hardly see where he is going. It has to give you warning arrows for obstacles so you know they are coming: you should just be able to see them coming. Zoom out please.
If even the creator has lost interest in this game then it should probably be taken off the site. It's a very poor version of Pong and it looks like it will never be improved.
When you form walls from the green blobs they act like lumpy walls so the ball does not bounce nicely and its almost impossible to control how it will bounce without many tries. That is a little tedious and could be made better by adding proper walls to the game. 2/5 stars
A great game. 5/5 stars, but level 15 is such a killer! It has so many overlapping doors that I can't figure out what's going on and almost every move has unexpected consequences.
It's a well made game but it's not nice enough to the player. It's worth 3/5 stars as it is, but it could so easily be 5/5 if it just had more detailed instructions. I could explain what causes you to lose a life, but it doesn't. The instructions are just too brief and incomplete and it seriously affects enjoyment when you are just trying to figure out what is going on. Also, a bit too dark.
Where to put the ball is not a problem; there are tons of options. Just pick one that's not bad. You could put it directly above the paddle. You could keep it in the middle and send it towards the paddle. You could start it on the enemy paddle to give the player more time to react. For even more reaction time, start the ball in the middle and send it towards the enemy paddle. This pause is too long and it seems like the game has frozen.
When the game does come back, please do not add a small pause. That is not solving the real problem, just making the game slower. The real problem is resetting the paddle back to the middle.
Your paddle should not go back to the center after scoring; that is disorienting for the player and seems strange. As an alternative you could let the ball be served by the scoring side or just send the ball towards the paddle at its current location.
I'd give this game 5/5 stars because it's a fun concept, but interface issues really mess it up. The pause button works sometimes and not other times, there's no way to return to menu from a level and skipping the tutorial is buggy too. 3/5 stars.
It could use an option for reducing the graphics quality. It seems that the graphics are slowing things down sometimes. I also think something has been lost in the graphical upgrade. 3/5 stars
I see that if I turn up my screen brightness to max this game becomes playable. In that case I'll give it 2/5 stars instead of 1/5 stars. It would have been 5/5, but making things so hard to see is a ridiculous way to add challenge to a game. At least I see where this game gets its name.
This is a great, fun game. I've been trying it with high speed and armor and low gun because it seems like running away is the best strategy, but that's giving me quite a challenge! I may have to try high armor next time. 5 stars
