It is painfully glitchy. My investigation of burgess industries has stalled and I have no confidence that it's even possible to get any farther because a glitch might be preventing me from finding what I need. It would be an awesome game without the glitches, though. 1/5 stars.
It doesn't have even a minimal menu system. You have to start on the first level every time you play, and you can't go back to retry a level without refreshing the webpage. 1/5 stars.
Nice graphics, but poorly designed. The master levels have twists that surely are trying to make it more interesting, but mostly they are terrible. Blocks that break randomly and areas where you cannot see the ball replace the skill of the game by luck. 1/5 stars.
The graphics are great, but the play is weak. The bosses shoot solid beams of death that seem to be totally unpredictable. That's not very satisfying. The beautiful graphics make it harder to see the enemy shots while simpler graphics would make the battlefield more clear. 3/5 stars.
A cute game. Clearing all your arrows after every attempt is a huge problem that gets bigger with each level you play, so -2 stars for that. 2/5 stars total.
The lag really messes up the reward for avoiding death. You can play until the game grinds almost to a halt, and they you can't really play anymore because it is too slow. It's not an impressive prize for doing well! 1/5 stars.
I was worried when I saw all these glitch comments and they were right. I ran into a glitch. That's so disappointing because otherwise this would have been a great game. 1/5 stars.
This game is going to be the greatest once it's finished! I'm sure it'll be 5 stars. This beta version has a ton of obvious problems, so it's only 2 stars, but I'm sure all the problems will be fixed.
This game isn't trying to be controversial; it is trying to be funny and succeeding brilliantly. If you have a loading screen that is immediately followed by action, that load wait because a million times worse because the player has to sit there prepared to defend himself while he waits. I find just defeating Satan to be very hard.
Once you reach a certain point in the game you aren't allowed to replace barricades that have been destroyed. I'm not sure what causes this or if it is a bug, but it just means there is all the more reason to keep your barricades repaired!
It's an interesting concept but the precision of timing required to aim is totally impractical. It would be more fun if there were a better way to control the aim, like if the catapult swung more slowly. 2/5 stars.
Getting all aces is not possible. There are levels where it is obviously impossible to get an ace, like the ones where you need a small-flame power up.
This game seems great at first, but it does seem to have its problems. The menus for buying and upgrading are a bit awkward. The 'cash gun' seems to be exactly like the machine gun. 3/5 stars
This is not a good version of Doom. Fiddling with the quality control options messes up the game. Because this is flash, the game should have had the graphics seriously scaled back, but instead this is just a copy and paste of the source code, without even testing for bugs. 2/5 stars.
Great game. It's a solid 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars, but the menu and cheats system is a little weak. There's no way to turn off cheats, no way to examine your abilities, etc.
This game is a bit shoddy, unfortunately! When the game uses text it doesn't always fit into the space provided for it. When you go to look for a quest, it won't let you refuse them all, it will just keep giving you quests until you take one, even if you don't want a quest anymore. A little bit of playtesting and care would have gone a long way with this game. 1/5 stars.
