Yeah the balance is really bad. There's basically no reason not to use 3 ninjas plus your choice of support because each of their three shots does almost as much damage as anyone else's single. Which gives you a tremendous advantage in long range spread, close range shotgunning, and the 8-way special.
Has a tendency to stick into strafing mode and lock you into firing a single direction for the rest of the level. I know it's not just my mouse sticking, because it still registers mouseclicks to shockwave.
A "bookmark/unbookmark all parts" button would be nice, or even a second bookmark that flags parts that are used in at least one recipe. With such an absurd amount of specialized parts, it'd be nice to know what you should stock up on for the future without having to toggle all but one of your recipes every time you want to build a specific one.
The main problem is that it's nearly impossible to craft anything because there are just too damn many different kinds of parts and the shop doesn't stock anything useful. Without epic bonuses, it's pretty much impossible to get a chest after the first few levels.
That is the shortcoming of the new HTML5 technology - not all browsers work well with it yet. Please try to play the game in Internet Explorer, it manages this quite well.
Consider having the shine on the tris fall off as you get close -- it's awesome for locating them at a distance, but it blinds you when you're about to collect them.
Oh, and having a supply of in-combat items this limited really, really blows goats. Especially seeing how you can pop one for a "serious" attempt at a hard boss and then get utterly screwed by the board.
Even when you're lucky enough to set up a good chain, you'll occasionally just not do one of the attacks. Like, it's not even a miss -- you just don't even initiate it at all.
There's some pretty tremendous input lag on this -- like, the framerate is fine, but my commands seem to get bottlenecked and delayed for upwards of 3-4 seconds.
A game this simple should not lock up my entire computer for a minute and a half every time I pick or complete a puzzle. I don't know what kind of excessive leaderboarding is going on there, but it takes way, way too long and there's not really any excuse for it to eat up that much thinking time.
Okay, there's pretty much no reason why the game should lock up for several seconds every time I finish a level, especially when none of the other Dibbles games did. Whatever you changed, it broke.
Could you please tell - what browser do you use? Thanks.
