Weird game balance to not respawn oxygen tanks when you go back to a map. Kind of f***s you up if you've focused wrong on oxygen capacity. Also, levels that are mostly diving through rock takes away the fun. Hidden passages are ok but if the entire level is going to be a "navigate by minimap" and not showing half of the treasures, it feels like playing blind. :/
Have you playtested this? The lag makes it unplayable. Its like the movieclips arent even being deleted? :( Made it through normal, but the acid tower mechanic is basically what the game revolvers around, making the other towers more or less cosmetical.
Is there a reason the enemy can pump out 20 or so monsters that take my entire army to even kill one of, and that have the range of 2 floors + AoE from hell?
The problem with the bosses are that when the base becomes invincible, the bosses stay within the base and your forces keep pounding away in wain at the invincible base. So you basically have to forfeit your entire army sofar just to be able to lure the boss out of the invincibilityzone. :/
There's absolutely zero reason to buy autoturret. After investing about 2000 000 $ into it, it still cant kill the enemies on stage. Better to put your money into % rent, damage, armor pierce. And of course.. before stage 28, into health.. Lots of health.
Development help: Needs a "surrender" button. Needs an abort button when you choose a map you dont wanna play. Needs an autosave. Needs better tooltips on units. Nice game. Keep up the good work. ^^
1) hitbox detect when shooting enemies lack. 2) Could you perhaps add some passive upgrades for the excessive bubble points? If i want a small bubbletank i cant use 75% of my bubblepoints for anything useful. :/
This game beats warlords by miles. Im guessing the complainers aren't part of the nintendo 8bit generation where games were still hard. As people have already stated, the best focus from the start is to build up some decent income, then buy the other spear unit types. After that, second objective is cavalry. You dont even need the archers if you have the top spearmen and cavalry late game.
Good game. I actually got stuck on "medium" difficulty before i remembered that i could research new types of units far superior to the starting 3. Its a must to defeat the persians. ^^
Since the creeps scale along with your progress. If you ever get stuck at, say 500$ at 50% progress, you might as well start from the beginning again. It doesnt matter if you play the last level or the first. Every creep has >1000 life and give ~7$ making it utterly impossible to ever recover again. If you actually play for a few levels hoping to at least scrape together a few bucks more, the game doesnt care if you dont win the level. How do i know this? Because my browser quit on me in the beginning of a level (to update) and the game made sure my money was gone, but didnt bother resetting it. :/
Could you please fix the damage on rocket towers. When the ICBM says "1000 damage" and it does ~200 when it bullseyes a creep without any resistances, somethings wrong. It isnt the AoE, it's the damage in itself. :/
Tip for surviving the last boss is to not upgrade your base to max. Everytime you upgrade it it instantly heals 100%, which will save you. You'll need it around lev 4-5 to survive the first hit though.
Ranking doesnt update fast enough. Its possible to finish 2nd and get a ranking of 4th because the game hasn't updated the last cars you passed. Competitors seem to get permastuck. After first speed upgrade its impossible to keep up with turns at this zoom level. Other than that, this is a great game. Actually reminiscent of a game im actually plan on making when time permits. I love the hommage to old cargames. My own would be a tribute to supercars 2 of course. Keep up the good work ;)
