Took me like thirty attempts to do the challenge. Really frustrating for me. Just waiting and watching the ai mostly. Really needs a faster hat or another mechanic to justify levels like that. A remove/recall hat option without teleporting would be nice. The fact that the camera can't track far enough is a problem when you move and suddenly need to wait for the camera to move and a laser can get you. Just I appreciate never having to die to learn where people are and just not memorizing things. So another game option might be a zoom out or fix camera to a point so it doesn't move suddenly.
Well after trying the challenge quite a few times, this is just frustrating to get the badge for the challenge. Basically need to memorize where enemies are and timing. Numerous spots where two enemies point for death. While the simplicity is nice at many points, having dodge, hat, and using an object is a bit too few mechanics for a challenge like this to be fun for me. If enemies could shoot each other, that would make this better.
Yeah, the fix seems to be to play the game a bit, reload, and then you may have the badge. It didn't track certain units initially for me or the medium one.
Saved weapon upgrades, but didn't save research progress of recent data, so I'm not confident that I can keep on progressing. Had to refresh as I couldn't purchase research. So the game is just effectively broken in the research at very least. So I can't continue. Will try at least one more time to see if research comes back if there's some sort of delay, but it just seems like a poor function to need external data to progress.
The upgrades issue seems to be with cookies being blocked from ninjakiwi specifically. So if you go into your cookie settings and allow them, then I think you should be able to save your progress. Worked once for me.
123 levels for the hard badge is just too many levels. Wish there were like a medium around 60 levels to make it almost worthwhile. This is more a badging issue than a game issue. Just a puzzle game is only fun if it has different challenges or obtainable benchmarks. Sure you could play it once a day for 2-3 levels, but that's take forever. Just too much grind for the reward. I'd imagine at least 1 minute per level with 10 minutes being possible. So that's 2-20 hours in range. So just that's too much time for a hard badge when you're basically playing a game to pass time.
Hints do generate over time. They're in the store. It's a long wait, but it gives you a few more. You can buy them as well but if you get the 1 free hint it starts a timer. Really a decent way to use a store in a game as not essential but speeds it up for those who want to keep going.
Spend an over an hour on the medium badge. Not worth it, it turns out. Turns out a developer who makes a snakes game is better than me. The delayed reactions also don't help. Really cool concept, but I don't like the difficulty curve.
120 levels. Just why? 50 or 100 seems much more reasonable. No fast forward button either for those of us who know what we're doing. Too many levels for too much grinding.
I legitimately don't know why the hard badge isn't an impossible one. Just I'd love to see someone do the hard badge 10 times in a row to prove it is skill and not luck that dictates this game. Maybe there's a pattern to the boosts? Just not a pattern repeated every time at least.
The hardest part of the game was the timing of that bridge of moving platforms. 2 dimensional platforming is not easy for me. Basically the squares need to be 100% in sync and you're not meant to account for the fall arc of the jump.
My mouse has a hard time clicking and holding down. I hate clicking games because of this. Managed to do it, just very repetitive to me and just feels like I'm waiting for the game to work.
