The game has a great deal of potential, it is quite decent for a "first draft". The AI of troops could be improved quite a bit, and another big issue is that while the photo-realistic backgrounds are semi-nice to look at, they make it almost completely impossible to see your troops against the background. I would much rather deal with a halfway decent computer image background, and be able to see my units; as opposed to a photorealistic, slightly nicer looking background that makes my units impossible to see.
Decent attempt, could actually turn into something good with a little more work. The game needs some sort of objective, such as an enemy base to send your troops off to...don't like endless games, there's no point. Second, the game needs a way to "extend" your turf, like as you gain ground towards enemy's side of the screen, you should gain more land on which to build things.
Demo = automatic 1/5. Not paying money for an amateur game, when I can drive to Wal-Mart and by a real game, from a professional studio, for the same amount of money.
Not a very interesting game. The rules are really awkward, and non-intuituve. Played 3-4 times to get used to the rules, and even once I understood them the game just didn't keep my interest. It's kinda like a retarded version of Yahtzee.
Has potential but could use some improvements. Needs better controls, I agree that the controls should be absolute, not in-relation to where the ship it pointing. Also game should be divided into stages so you don't have to start all the way from the beginning every time.
Information is sorely lacking. Would be nice if the player had a clue what the objective of moves was so we could form some sort of meaningful strategy.
eeeew, WASD. W, A, S, D are letters in the alphabet, NOT directions of movement. ....but I hear ya, with we could use the keyboard, just I vote for arrow keys.
Game is nothing like amorphous, this game is actually kind of fun, whereas amorphous just plain sucks. Wish the controls were a little better though, mouse-based transport is a little 'floaty' and makes precise piloting somewhat more difficult than keyboard-based driving would be. But other than the movement, it's a good game!
