Great game. I loved the original. Wish there were more "new" things in this besides missions though. Would love to see upgrades that you could "carry" with you from mission to mission (like technology upgrades or something), that you could purchase with winnings from missions, or would allow you to gradually power-up your technology so you could tackle harder missions, or tackle a mission that is giving you trouble,
Games where the end is predetermined (aka you will lose) are stupid, please don't waste players' time by publishing such garbage. "no matter what, you will lose" = automatic 1/5
Quite possibly one of the worst games I have ever played. Towers don't scale with troops, and can't be upgraded, eventually they become useless. Game play has no strategy what so ever, all in all, just terrible. The concept is excellent, in that it livens up the otherwise exceedingly boring genre of tower defense games, but the programming and logic are terrible and should be completely reworked.
Pretty good concept as far as a fun, perpetual, RPG; however the game needs a fair amount of work yet. Right now it appears that they only ways to "heal" to full health are either to die, to level up, or to use "health kits" (antivirus floppies, etc.). Exiting the virtual work, and resting/saving in the bed should heal character to full health. Also dungeon needs a mapping function so you can tell where you have been, and/or need to go. Dungeon also resets every time you exit to the real world, which shouldn't happen if you want the game to be an enjoyable player experience. It's a good start, keep developing it and it could be a all-around fun and decent game.
Great game, until the final level. The final level is disproportionately difficult, so unfortunately I can't give the game a perfect score, but it's still a solid 4/5.
A very nice addition, or sequel, would be to have a gameplay mode that allowed the player to take the fight to the pirate (i.e. destroy their base), so there would be both attack and defense strategies, and more depth of gameplay; rather than a focus strictly on defensive gameplay.
Decent concept, but somewhat ruined by the fact that the game perspective and controls are terrible. If controls were better would be able to rate it higher than 2/5.
Long load time, halfway decent gamewise despite being very repetitive. Without ability to continue from where you left off though it's just not worth playing more than once.
