Would be good if the game wasn't glitched. Don't know how many times I have seen units (not ninjas) walk right past towers without the towers firing a single shot. Obviously doesn't happen all the time, but happens enough to make it extremely annoying when trying to get Brilliant ratings...and the glitch happening on the last wave.
Decent game overall but unfortunately, as with all of the Epic War series, the last level is ridiculous. The disproportionate difficulty of the last level has always plagued the series, and still stands in the way of any chapter being a truly great game.
Also, it looks terrible to take the crisp normal-resolution enemy graphics; enlarging them to represent more powerful versions of the creatures. It would work if they were vector-based instead of rasterized; but the ultra-pixelated large monsters looked terrible.
Conceptually a decent game, and the playthrough was mostly fun; the game just needs better play testing and quality control. 3/5
Too many people use the tag "Beta" to explain away the bugs, instead of working on fixing them. Obvious that people don't understand the development and release process.
This game has WAY too many problems, and for those that want to 'defend' this by saying it's Beta.,..if it's Beta then SnailGame should NOT be attempting to swindle players into spending real-life money for a glitchy game that contains an endless stream of bugs. People that purchase cards for this game are hurting themselves and other players by 'rewarding' a company for producing crap. Save yourself the money, and contribute to the online gaming genre, by actually giving developers incentive to produce reliable content if they want to try to get people to 'invest' in their product.
Transport of resources does not always work, sometimes the resources just disappear.....in other words, the transporting unit takes the resources from the sending city, but the resources are never deposited at the recipient city.
I just lost over 5,000 units of assorted resources because of this bug.
Intelligent customers will never spend a dime of their hard-earned money to purchase cards for this game when it is as glitchy and filled with software bugs as it has been.
Many of the games bugs have been around for weeks or months...and still have not been repaired.
Nice attempt, but this game just has too many bugs in it and isn't developed enough to be published. Text isn't fully displayed on screen in a large number of areas (e.g. gets chopped off by text boxes), the game isn't intuitive enough for players, and you have to go through too many screens to accomplish simple tasts. Definitely has potential, but this version shouldn't be published; or if the players are supposed to be the game's beta testers at least give them something, since we're doing the developers job for them. Solid 2/5, but you'll never make money on an unfinished product like this. Too unpolished and underdeveloped.
So yea. This game is completely unbalanced, and to make matters worse there is not enough information on the mods. I just put a mod on a pistol, and it raised the pistol to lvl 6 without any warning, rendering it unusable, so now I don't have a weapon. This game sucks, 1/5.
