Interesting interlude but not really a game or even really a comment and, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the music so it was mostly a bit wasted on me. I can appreciate the artistry that went into it but it will have to be for other to enjoy...
Nice little game with a nice idea to it and some interesting puzzles. Maybe a little too little of a basis for a game though, interesting though the point of the game is. Nice idea, execution lacking in depth - otherwise good :)
Really don't know what to make of this game, trying a bizarre one but a good attempt given it's FMV - so few people ever try it I'm sure that the amount of effort necessary is completely estimated - the same happened to Wing Commander. Anyway, nice try but overall just a little too bizarre for me!?
An amazingly evocative game, even more so than any of JonasKyratzes's others here... which is saying a heck of a lot! Just play it, there is no way to describe the story or the atmosphere, it is just beautiful, feeling and ... wow - what can you say after that, just ... wow. Thank you (^_^)
A beautiful little satirical game and such a change from so much you can find here on Kongregate. The graphics might not have been much but the sound more than makes up for it and the minimalist, but higly evocative, story-telling is amazing. Well done and thank you :)
Really nice little game, never mid the graphics, the music is great ad the story really nicely told with hints all the way before the reveal... and so many more places to explore it's worth going back :) - Great game, great job. :)
And yet again JonasKyratzes proves that graphics aren't worth a dime when you have a smooth interface, useful sfx, excellent music but, most important of all, a coherent, involving, feeling story that takes you along with it, and the story here is about a couple of hundred words of half formed sentences!?! This really shows that with just a hint of everything you can create an atmosphere that sucks you in and makes everything else seem like pissing into the wind! Damn this stuff is good - storytelling and gaming at its best... please keep making these things, they are wonderful in every sense that matters, great art, philosophy and engaging like nothing else! It even has replayability - I can't imagine how much of alphaland I have not yet explored! Wow and thank you (^_^)
An excellent game, the satire and use of text and context is well adapted to putting across the facts of the situation and providing a very strong image that you can then choose to accept at face value or make your own theories as to how it relates to you. Very effective and one of the more important philosophical games here on Kongregate - though, in my opinion, most of the philosophical games here are more important (though may be not as fun) as the rest of the games here. Well done and (to my mind) a very effective and serious indictment of the US government as well as those of their allies. Thank you.
The graphics and sfx are nothing special, the music quite haunting which sets the tone of the game very well, at first confusing and then by turns scary and intriguing the story is what you stay for, no question... do I know the answer to the question the story poses? Do I understand the game? Yes, I think I do and maybe I do... but even if I don't what I have learned from it is enough for me and I think I have thought about it all more than I would have done otherwise which is probably close enough to the intent of the writer to be counted as a success. All I can say is that it is wonderful, thoughtful and very evocative. Thank you very much for writing it, it was worth it, more than you can probably imagine by this point, so thank you (^_^)
An absolutely beautiful game, it might be a little longer than you were expecting but it is most certainly worth it. The graphics are apt (if not so beautiful), the music however is perfect and very calming. The interface works seamlessly and flawlessly but it is when you come to the concept and story that this game comes into its own. The story is not just highly original, it is a prototype story as well as a meta story. That you have to read the story in no way detracts and, in fact, adds to the involvement you feel with it all, it's brilliantly and the odd little SFX pull you in all the more. Finally the descriptions and stories behind everything are probably where most of th story lies - just the descriptions of things are worth playing for. Beautifully elaborate and a joy to play - I might now know the story and the solution but I'll play this again I'm sure :) - Thank you very much for making this, it was wonderful (^_^)
Doesn't connect to anything... much as I like might to play this old English game (based on a Roman one... seriously, Chinese?!? *sigh*) Can't comment on anything but the graphics which seem nice enough in the load screen... otherwise broken.
Intuitive, easy-to-use interface and nice graphics, the music is a little repetitious and the sfx okay. The game concept and interest of the game are nearly nothing with little or no replay value if you are a fan of this style of game - if not then this is not likely to entice you. The length of the game was about right - nice and short so you can play it to completion and then go and fins something more interesting and fun to do! It basically looks like a nicely executed but thoughtless clone of a mediocre game.
And just to prove that the developer isn't interested in fixing the major problem with this game - that the number of combinations gets too large and there is only an increase of this as the game progresses - a walkthrough is released... you need to fix your game, not give out solutions - way to kill replay value for people *sigh*
Good game overall continuing the original concept however there is one newer issue and one old issue that has never been fixed... towrads the end it becomes near impossible to finish the game without help as there are too many combinations to try and nothing much to cut them down except brute force or using a guide/walkthrough, the second issue is the increasing invasiveness of the advertising for the iphone version. It's a shame to see this series going this way and due to the lack of progress on the main problem of this game this new issue is probably enough to turn people off the series - looks like trying to make quick buck at the cost of a future buck *sigh* I know that customers don't always ask for the right things but sometimes they are (actually) right. Fix it or lose it.
A good game with a nice twist on te classic Tetris formula as well as a relatively original idea for why one might built an evil fortress! The graphics suite the game style and the music very catchy. The sfx and interface work well (with a few minor grips that Tetris also always suffered from!) The main stumbling block (and it's much of one given the quality of the game) is that the replayability is slightly limited. Overall though it's an excellent game and well implemented and I hope it garners the audience it deserves! :)
An amazing game which requires a little learning, discovery and finesse that doesn't involve being a mouse jockey... the graphics are perfect and the music excellent (just the right mixed of slightly mournful and yet also quite jolly that means it is appropriate for every occasion your dynasty comes across! :) - I can not praise this game enough and I am sure I will come back time and again to play it. Thank you for making this game.
A playable Grow(C) game but there isn't much in the way of logical order and one thing often doesn't lead to another. The graphics are okay, the music a little annoying and some of the early animations just take too long - especially when it's the earlier ones that you see the most, the first one particularly. Overall not very well though out and although Grow(C) clones were bound to happen this game shows why Eyemaze's efforts will stay at the top of the stack for some time to come!
A lovely little game with excellent execution, graphics, music and sound. The game play is easy to learn and difficult to master - a guaranteed way to keep people trying "just one more time" so see if they can do any better. Only takes a moment to play and takes little time investment to have a great time. One of the best games on Kongregate I'd say :)
Nice little game, and a slightly more polished version of the previous incarnation. Good graphics, mechanism and music - the sound effects are improved and definitely deserve a mention for being cute and very apropos. A nice implementation and a little less intrusively a pay-for demo this time, thank you :)
