A good concept but the AI is just too stupid - you've at least heard of A*, right? Never mind the cheating computer... sending troops in six directions at once? And the failure to engage troops and enemy troops apparently materialising out of no-where and captured checkpoints reverting for no apparent reason... If you can fix all these problems you have a winner on your hands, until then you're gonna get mediocre reviews. Would not recommend but then maybe I just prefer fighting with the rules rather than with the bugs...
Wow... interesting concept... about the only good part of this game... annoying music, bad game-play, missing features that should be standard these days, awful levels ad generally a badly botched game... next time do everything opposite to hear and you'll have a winner (even if the idea isn't original... there are many ways to improve on and an original idea doesn't make a good game - as you have perfectly demonstrated. Overall, sucky.
Kinda of a nice kids game but one of the most unforgiving games I've come across, certainly wouldn't let my kid play - they'd be in tears before they got a minute into it... good idea, passable implementation, okay music and good graphics, crap storyline (bee with short term memory loss!?!? and why "naughty"!?!?) but some of the game mechanics leave more to be desired than the rest of the game altogether.
Nice little game, well executed and fiendishly hard in the way that old arcade and early home computer games were... in essence unfinishable or so close as to be done so only by an elite few (possibly not including the developers... see the crash bug that ended your game of PacMac!) Nice little game and would get a higher score if the controls were that little more responsive and so you felt more justified that you were dead as a result of you rather than not getting the right idea rather than not having the split millisecond timing of a young kid on sugar, cocaine and speed dusted extra mallow rainbow lucky charms...
I see what you did there... you bowed to criticism and put in timed lights but then you forgot to stop cars just parking right in the middle of junctions, that's even worse than some of the things they used to do... so now it is just so easy to get messed up - and the random map thing - yea gods... putting buildings in inaccessible places might well be a side effect but it doesn't have screw you with no way to fix the problem... nice try but you really are going to have to pay attention to the real world... in cases where people park all over the place they get towed... given the various other difficulties it seems odd, also, that cars can't drive through villages or past factories... or are these all walled estates because the different coloured people hate each other (hence going only to their own factories??) Anyway, nice try but way to make it even more frustrating that small random events can screw over the best laid plans... third times a charm?
Gargh.... this game is so amazingly annoying... there is no clear behaviour preference for the cars' routes and there is so little control you can have and on top of that it is oh so simple to have cars jam themselves in amazingly tight loops (as few as two seems to be possible and block the road entirely). Overall a great concept but one that has been poorly implemented with annoying sounds, infuriating gameplay and design decisions that just make one want to scream... the idea seems ot be about th only good thing about this game *sigh* - maybe the second time?
A fun little game but some sort of balancing depending on the speed of the machine it is played on would help - for me the boost did nothing as it was already hyperfast! Overall, passable (but mainly because of the crazy speed and lack of development)... good to pass a minute, maybe.
Overall a good idea badly implemented (again). The essence of this game is clearly bridge design however the writer clearly has little idea how real bridges work or how physics works for that matter. Generally bridges are not made of rubber and cargo is strapped down (the coal train is a joke - I lost part of my load without touching a button as it fell out when it was dropped into the wagons?!?) So I would not recommend this and, although the idea is good the finished game is sufficiently bad I'd recommend against bothering with it until it has a serious overhaul...
A really nice little game with an amazingly simple but non-obvious concept that has been really well implemented. The graphics and music work well to create an appropriate atmosphere and the controls are simplicity itself. The puzzles are logical and well thought out - even if they require a little observation and lateral thinking - and you are given all you need to get through them. Overall an excellent little game that I would have no qualms about recommending to those looking for something a little more off the beaten track :)
Overall a great concept and game, the implementation leaves a little to be desired though but only in the respect of the typed interface. The computer clearly does not have many responses stored and has great difficulty in answering simply constructed questions - though English itself is not at all simple - maybe a little more leeway could have been achieved by looking for keywords and negatives in particular. But for this I would have given it a 5/5 but sometimes the frustration was too much.
Appalling intro, passable game but really couldn't be bothered going beyond getting all the silver leaves and the crowns because it was badly repetitive enough by that point - really couldn't face marginal timing and random spawning causing mayhem (your plants don't spot new crystals for a surprising amount of time given they are right next to them). Overall the implementation was good but the concept stretched way beyond breaking point... kinda like a 25 minute fight scene on a plane during take-off. There are plenty of games that are way more successful and way shorter - let this be a lesson to you (if only :( - entirely skippable, unlike the intro *sigh*
Nice little game with good atmosphere, an interesting story and an appropriate graphical style. The interface works well and the sfx are nicely integrated. Overall a nice little game with a notable fault that it had only just started... where's the rest?!? Shame but a nice start :)
A wonderful game with enchanting music, beautiful art, a lovely - if haunting - story, a good interface and is an engaging idea very well executed. Well done and thank you - keep up the good work :)
Good graphics, good concept an very nice execution with the music and sounds not being too repetitive as well as apropos. The gui has acouple of negative points (no pause key), the minimap hiding part of the map (very relevant in one game where I was wedged up against that corner - the hardest level I ended up playing despite being mid-game. Overall it could be a little less repetitive in terms of gameplay since a lot of the later levels require lower tech. with good upgrades rather than using all the fancy new stuff you got... that Titan cannon killed most of my fighters due to the explosion spreading through them like wildfire - a real issue in itself.
Very nice art, music a little repetitive, interface good, gameplay couldn't be more samey if it tried... once you know what to look for in each picture then it's always the same - tattoos, clothing patterns and tree branches covers 90% of the differences, a bit of variation would be nice. The story was a bit empty too but who plays difference games for the story?? Overall, could be better, even for a difference game.
Another excellent sequel - great music, graphics, interface, story and characterisation. Definitely my favourite series so far (but I doubt it'll get beat! :) - keep up the good work and thank you :)
Another excellent game, great graphics, music, story and interface. Here's hoping for more I guess. Thank you and looking forward with hope for another one :)
Nice game, good stories, impressive range given some many starts. The music is great and tis series just seems to keep on truckin' !! Keep up the good work with and we'll keep appreciating it! :D
Good game, though getting all the endings is not so straight forward. The story-line, characterisation and music are all great and the graphics fit the style well. Overall a good game :)
Great story and characterisation, pretty good music that's not repetitive, good interface though occasionally the options are not all clear. Overall a nice little game :)
