Moon level: Use Cycle King. Slowly roll forward, hit up and left keys at same time to keep him going. Very tough, but just do it in the first stretch. Roll backwards down the hill to get the last few seconds, don't go over the hill or your back wheel comes off the ground, canceling the wheelie. For the Finish First, use Sir Colin. He gets great speed once you get the boost meter up, especially after doing sextuple flips off the big jumps. Sails right over the rocky parts near the end that slow down bikes with bigger wheels.
I fell down a hole in the glacier level and never stopped falling! I hit the edge right as I fell in and there's a weird white line on the minimap running up and down. Crazy!
Oh, and if there were various kinds of customers, they would have more money to spend at certain shops, so you could be rewarded for herding customers in the right direction, kind of a like a lemmings game.
Interesting game, but a few ways to spice it up:
- Different kinds of consumers, like foodies, teenage girls, computer nerds, etc. - Wider variety of buildings, and each building has a certain effect (+% of customers a day, each customer has +% money to spend, reduces building costs by -%) - Let us level up the bus stop! - Other shops like Comedy Club, Hot Moppet, etc. that can target certain consumers - Right now the build order is very routine. I built the same things in the same order every time and won. Levels that start with more/less money or don't allow upgrades could be interesting. - Instead of a 2D view, what about an isometric city block? Each "block" would be one day, and you build on all four sides. Pedestrians start on one corner and leave the block after traveling around it once, stopping in each store along the way.
Needs better instructions on switching weapons, using health packs, etc. More variety in the missions would be cool too. Also, with all the blood on the ground, it's really hard to see the mission arrow. Changing its color would really help.
Eh... kind of interesting for a little while. Range of enemies is nice. Weapons are okay. Kind of feels like the zenith of these style of shoot-em-ups - once you do all this, where do you go from here? Not really innovative - just the penultimate.
If the computer interrupts Jesus' rain of fishes attack, the attack is canceled. If Jesus interrupts Eve's Adam from the Ground attack, however, it isn't canceled and will connect.
I really like this game. My only complaint is that I thought the game was referring to Bakersfield, Illinois while it was really asking for Bakersfield, California!
