Pacman, only the monsters tend to get stuck in paths quite often. This means that one small stretch that you have to get coins to, or the exit is at may be impossible to get to without getting hurt or dying. When you kill a monster they should be out of the loop for say 20+ seconds before re-spawning, rather than immediately.
Swim, jump, bite. Nice pixel graphics, has a nice SNES feel to it, Although there's no story, no music, and you have no clue that you're evolving into a dragon. Very simple, very short as well.
World actions (like rocks falling) have a very 'out of this world'-game feel. I can't quite tell if you're a moth or a bat, and your movements are so slow it's annoying.
Feels a little too simple. Getting around by switching your sanity levels is a little annoying, and getting through the void I got stuck once and needed to talk to a doctor in the void to finish walking through it. Feels like the word commands are mostly pointless as only keys are the only items available. Although there's a couple funny parts, like using the 'never' keyword :)
Simplistic, somewhat enjoyable but can only chase after pixels for so long. Need music, perhaps a gravity field as the picture gets more dense pixels are more attracted to it.
Not only do you have to get all pixels that might be in reach, but much of it early on you have to get as close to the edges before jumping in order to reach them that it's ridiculous. It's beatable, frustrating but beatable.
Annoying in one sense. However after a thought of brilliance i had no trouble afterwards. Here's a screenshot of my screen a few weeks ago. Got tired after this point, but seen it go to lvl 95, although monsters beyond this point just take forever to kill... http://rtcvb32.001webs.com/wb_overkill.png
I've gotten to the 80th floor, and I rather like the game. An issue I'm having though, is I have downloaded it and it won't play outside of being from a site. I'm guessing the preloader is breaking it.
I think what would make it more interesting, is if as you ate other blobs you got bigger. Now taking up more of the screen doesn't make sense, so instead you see all the other blobs slowly getting smaller. Might also do certain blobs eat others (of their own color).
I remember programming something similar on my atari800XL when i was younger, me and my brother played it a bit. :)
I would think you should have an option of game speed, (1/4 to x2) would be nice, along with the ability to go slightly faster (25%?) or slower (50%?). That would give you some semblance of more control or to live a bit longer. Lastly, following the original tron game the dead player's walls/lines would, either all at once or going back quickly so you could escape if an opening presented itself.
But on a whole the game is nice. :)
As interesting as the game looks, I'm going to refuse to play if I can't set the quality settings to lower than 'high'. As nice as it may look, constantly having it forced on the highest quality means choppy gameplay on a large number of systems. Unless this improves I'm sticking with 1star rating.
