i luv trolls: try unequiping ALL your skills for starting mana, make a really good starting gem, and see if it can get you further. early on at low levels, most skills just aren't much better than starting mana.
Seeing lot's of folks whining about Dread Night so here goes again:
1)you will probably be on level 250 or so when you'll be able to afford him. It is not worth your time to try to get this far on your first ascension.
2)Hero's get a 4x multiplyer for every 25 levels past 175 and a 10X multiplier for every 1000 levels. Because of this, shortly after Frostleaf hits 75, it's worth your time to go back and take treebeast, brittany, ivan and especially masked samurai to 1000. This should get you through your first few ascensions and well on your way to lvl 250.
@Nosaji- Compared to other games, this one isn't all that bad. You've obviously not played long, so stop worrying about journey man and open multiplayer, 3 apprentice opens you 2 oak packs and where you're at, those actually still help you. The problem with matchmaking is lack of players. Work on draft and maxing your commons, there's plenty of game to be had there for awhile. Really doesn't stall till uncommons are maxed, then it's fairly worth it to give the developers 10 bucks to get access to gold packs..... And probably stick to green until you get better cards, usually have better there because of the time sunk into the campaign.
Am I the only one that doesn't like the pick your own quest reset time? It's kinda the reason there's not a set time with lots of people on and diverse matchups in draft instead of like two people you keep replaying over and over again....
basically you need to use the x10 damage bonus each hero gets at 1000 to keep pushing to higher and higher stages until you're pulling in MUCH higher gold to afford the cost of dread knight. Probably need more than a few ascensions as well.
rrietmann, after you get frostleaf to 50-100, it's time to go back to tree beast and take him to 1000. Work your way through leveling your heros to 1000 and put off Dread Knight for a LONG time.....
I kinda agree he gets down voted too much, but then every third thing he posts is blatant trolling so.... Personally I think it keeps things interesting.
