wow, never felt such a feeling of accomplishment when beating a computer, thank you sir for giving my brain a nice work out. And I have NEVER seen a developer actually respond directly to comments before, hope the practice catches on.
um, tried turning off music in the main menu, but it starts back up again after you are in game. Hurts cause my ancient system chugs enough with sound off...Still good game even if it's a bit rough around the edges.
For folks missing save games, I'm running firefox 4 with no problems, might want to check and make sure your local storage is set to unlimited and that your antivirus isn't deleting the temp files.
Is it just me or has it gotten buggy all of the sudden, having a much harder time than usual finding pvp games and experienced the strangest bug on here I've seen, PvP matched me up against my self, opponent timed out, and then I played my deck against myself and lost, and got knocked for 2 losses. Methinks the new cards introduced some bugs. It was probably worth it for Schrodinger's cat though...
Game severely needs a survival mode. Otherwise it's over long before we've gotten to play with half of the toys. Inflate, buy revolver, inflate, buy shotgun, inflate, buy assault rifle inflate done....
4/5 Really liked it, wish there was a reason to play with spells other than triple fireball. Levels 1-6 are way too easy given we start with the healing spell. Also noticed for some reason when my connection hiccups, I lose control of my wizard which is strange. Wouldn't mind survival mode being harder if the level cap went to 20. As it is, I'll never bother with the ice tree at all.
Really wanted to give this game 5 stars, it's very unique which is hard to pull off in a tower defense game, but in the end it's just too sloppy, balancing is all over the place, cannons pretty much suck, as do the Prussians entirely, and that's ignoring the early release bugs. Looking forward to a sequel but this one only gets 4/5 in my book.
Be careful upgrading to max, the second to last level appears to allow you to max out your upgrades, but if their already maxed, then you'll skip it, and be unable to collect the badge for finishing the game, it will say you only completed 16 levels.
