I can't believe you guys did this again. Just like the last game in this series, the standard races are fairly easy, and all the other events are mind-numbingly frustrating. Please save the weird events for your side scrolling racers (which I really like).
If you're having trouble, go easy on your self, use bombs, equip a shield in the warp core slot, don't stress too much on the "don't get hit" achievements, whatever it takes to get through level 25. The achievements available for survival make things a lot easier after.
Feel like the "Tips" need to be unlocked way sooner, for example, by the time I got the tip for "money is important" money was entirely irrelevant, and some tips are entirely worthless, "Use the Anti-armor mod on armored guys", You don't Say.... Still 5/5 for me.
@David: I've played this a ton on both sites, and never once have I needed or wanted the AG only skills, improved gem bombs just doesn't really matter.
Found the first couple of missions extremely hard, after that bought all the armors and the rest was a breeze. Needed a way to buy missles, and the game goes way too fast from "you have no chance, run away" to "go destroy the super base."
Games gotten buggy since the "sliding bug fixed" update. Noticing myself passing through Goliaths without killing them, and had a berserker come through the wall without breaking it (and leaving me with no path forward).
At first I was like "the physics are a little wonky" but then I realized I was criticizing a game about punting a burger for miles using condiment propulsion for not being "realistic enough." It was fun, that's all that matters. 5/5.
My hat is off to you sir, you allowed me the experience of at least briefly appreciating dubstep, and that was something I didn't think myself capable of.
