The end of round scoring system is completely out of whack. I don't think I had a single round where failures and targets hit were both correct at the same time.
Fun, nice storyline, nice controls, purposely simplistic graphics, and no bugs I found other than the very rare "get stuck going in one direction", which isn't crippling, and only requires a pause to get out of. 5/5, and favorited. (PS: Hard mode - holy crap!)
@nike: i know. I'm more talking about the airports and tank factorys and shipyards. They stick around even when the war factories are gone (except on level 7), and between that and the fact that I feel guilty intentionally crashing to save myself the time of flying all the way across the map to restock my bombs, I wish there was a longer time limit.
Good game. I'd like it more without the time limit. On the higher levels, there just isn't enough time to destroy every target on the map, so I keep feeling like I'm not done yet when I have to brute force finish the level.
I think this one is easier than SCGMD2. The easy songs are a bit longer and more difficult, but there is nothing here on the level of "Run 'N' Gun" or "My Heart Up Your Ass".
The gameplay isn't fun, so I guess the game is really about the ship doodling, which has no options other than draw and erase everything. Not so good. 2/5
I guess I've played too much DTD. This is too easy and too repetitive, making for an overall dull experience. There's nothing really wrong with it, it just isn't interesting. 3/5
It isn't the music thats bad, just the vocals. If you can block out the singer and focus just on the music, the songs are pretty good. This is especially noticable on "The Fade", which is a good tune, until the singer starts screeching "Rise Aboooove!" while the background singer squeals like a pig.
I've been waiting for this one for months, and mostly, I'm not disappointed. My only recommendation is to stick to instrumentals more. These guys can't sing.
Pretty bland game. I liked the last few levels a lot more than the first 15, since you actually have to defend yourself instead of standing around waiting for a good shot to line up. 3/5
