And, of course, he has to prove that his creation is unique, without knowing what other players have come up before. That would be the perfect simulation!
Seriously. This is just so... low.
This sucks. Without hotkeys, how are you supposed to beat 30 seconds? Especially if you are using elder angels, which require you to select a target -- and then the mouse control is too stiff, and it doesn't register your choice. The control just ruins it.
Sorry, I just can't enjoy this game, and using the Tyrian sprites doesn't help at all.
Tyrian was a great game with a story, great humour, hard but addictive gameplay and diverse and inspiring levels. Seeing some of the graphic elements here, I can't help but compare the two, even though this game has absolutely nothing to do with Tyrian, at least on the "fun-ness" level, and feel how much it is lacking in that area. I guess it was a good programming practice, but nothing else.
These things don't move anything like ships would. I especially don't like that there are only two "speeds": full speed and stop. And there's the annoying zoom-in, which happens totally randomly.
All in all, lots of place for improvements.
The game should not auto-pause when the focus is lost. Normally it's a good idea, but since the last level is so insanely hard, we have to do some farming in the lower levels. And farming does not require (that much) attention, so it should be possible to do it in the background.
Other solution: make level 10 easier...
This game is exactly as frustrating as the "real" Prince of Persia games. Just sucks. The last game I liked was PoP2, back in the 90s. That was hard, yes, but not annoying.

Well, the English translation is not much different, really :D
Nice game. However, there are a few thing that could be improved:
- there should be a story. OK, maybe there is, but it's hidden behind a crapload of macho-lingo I cannot be bothered to read
- the inventory needs some work:
1. The items should be sorted alphabetically! This is a must.
2. There should be two panes: one for newly found items (with a "recycle all" button) and one for stuff I decided to keep. Now I have to go through my whole equipment list every minute or so to get rid of all the junk I pick up.
I like how the menu music sounds. It reminds me of classic games like Shadow of the Beast. But please, make it like 50x longer, this 5 second loop is horrible!
