This game is awesome. 5 stars, though I agree with some of the suggestions about "speed up" instead of "end now" (perhaps an option to choose either one?), as well as some of the scoring suggestions, which should be folded into Turbo Golf 2. This game definitely has the makings of a big hit though, and is deserving of several more courses and additional upgrades.
Significantly better than most tower defense games. Would be one of the very best if it were fleshed out even more.
It's a very well designed game. Easy to learn and a challenge to master. Seems like it will scale up nicely if the devs decide to make a sequel. The game engine is great and the overlay is gorgeous.
In all, I would rate this game a solid A and would be an A+ if it were a tad longer. A real hit.
I agree with all of the negative comments. The earlier versions of this game were great, but this one blows hard. Frustrating lack of control (what is up with the aiming circle not following my cursor????), laggy game, imprecise aiming, lack of life bar, limit to two guns, etc. Lame lame lame.
The "whiteboard" theme of the game does nothing for me, but the game itself is really fun. It would be better as a straight helicopter shooter game without the goofy whiteboard theme text.
P.S. Game developers, take note -- what makes this game so darned REPLAYABLE is that it is (a) easy to learn but challenging to master; (b) it is relatively short time to finish (much like Dolphin Olympics 2, another replayable game, it is just a couple of minutes per game if you're going for the speed badge); (c) it has a TIMER and a HIGH SCORE list so that you can constantly try to beat your best time (or your brother's best time, as the case may be).
