I stayed devoted to the site, participated in weekly challenges, amassed half the cards overall, and excitedly clicked the "Kongai" game link for this?
Pretty graphics, mundane system, slow gameplay, and an overall bias towards it because its created by Kongregate...if this were a game by an independent developer I doubt if it would even get a badge.
2/5. I'm disappointed.
Game sucks. It's 16 poorly designed mini-games with little warning as to what to do thrown at you at high speeds. Not to mention the physics in many of the games are horribly off while they're highly realistic in others. Plus, impossible situations are impossible.
Finally, NEEDS A FREAKIN' PAUSE BUTTON.
Unresponsive at times, frustrating, repetitive, unimaginative, and unrewarding.
Plus the music is pretty horrible too.
2/5. There are other shooter games that do it better than this
I'd have the impossible badge by now if the game had better note mapping. It's kind of hard to play a rhythm game where the notes are off the correct beat
If I could make a few suggestions...
1. Clear up conflict with typing outside the game window. As I'm typing this right now, the game is constantly pausing and un-pausing, I can hear Fancy-Man jumping, and the music is turning on and off.
2. Make a free-run level! If you could make a level devoted solely to free-running, where you can just fire it up and run around with no goal whatsoever, that'd be awesome. I'd love to just show off how fancy I was to my friends without having to play the actual storyline.
3. Quality buttons! This game is INTENSIVE for me at points, even with the music and moving backgrounds turned off. A low-quality feature would have taken that problem out beautifully.
4. Finally, some more enemies. I was disappointed to find that there were only spiders in the game this time around. What happened to the doodle-shooting monsters from World 1? Even just having 3 or 4 types of enemies would make the game much more enjoyable.
This is by far one of the best Dungeon-Crawling games I've played in a while. Definitely take this offline, man. Make some better character pictures, flesh out a better storyling, include another class (Perhaps splitting up the Cleric into a Cleric who uses actual magic for attacks, and a Support character who has incredibly high defense/wears heavy armor/has normal "Tank" skills?
This game is definitely rewarding when it comes to difficulty. I just got all 6 colors of pants (Black's not really that hard people. Remember: Red flooring is only tangible on one side. Think Line Rider)
Great game, very deserving of a 5.
The game's incredibly fun. The only problems I have with it would be the few un-colored Hang-bars in the 5th level. Other than that, the game itself is easy with many hard-to-find hard-to-complete challenges thrown in. I wouldn't have it any otherway.
Well, maybe without Snail-golf, but still. :p
5/5. Exceptional Job. Plus, only 8 more years until the 3rd game is released! :p
Wow, just wow. Quite possibly one of my favorite games of all time was Indestructo Tank. But here, all you've done is add in a cheesy, senseless storyline, a too-large feeling of urgency, and other things that detract from the simple fun that the original provided.
Piss-poor voice-acting and random pitfalls don't make for an adventure, guys. Nor does adding in an "enhanced" version of the original game (enhanced in quotes for a reason) make up for the repetitive music and muddy sound-effects.
Way to go, guys. You've tried re-make the wheel and instead succeeded in making a pile of crap. Thanks for killing what was my favorite game of all-time.
Whoops, ignore that :\
Please please please please pleease please PLEASE add in an eigth note option. There are so many songs I could make with this, but I need eigth, or even sixteenth notes to do it.
3 things to fix:
Make the weapon do something. Destroy green blocks only (Not Red/Orange/Etc.?)
Make the music the same volume when you die. I lost, and it went from a comfortable volume to "MY GOD MY EARS HURT" loud.
Finally, put in progress meters. Mainly a health meter, and a more noticeable level completion meter. Maybe a green bar at the bottom of the screen?
Either way, I've decided to change my rating to a 2 instead of a 1. This game does have potential, I spose, but with a few changes it could be a great game. Mainly just make things more noticeable, add in a working gun, and change that little thing at the end and you'll have a great game on your hands :)
Oh, and get rid of the impossible paths too. I barely got the card. If it weren't for the fact that I had one last live left, I would have died on a 3 block thick wall at the very end. :|
I love this game so much. I really do. It was witty and funny in a non-descript way.
Will you bear my children? :p
5/5, I hope this game gets a badge for SOME reason. Definitely make a sequel, although I think instead of a simple main character, you should use some of the basic Kongregate Avatars... :p
