Sigh.
Why do so many developers think that frustrating = fun? I've been stuck on the SAME GOD DAMNED LEVEL for the past couple of days, all because of the twisted paths used in it. A walkthrough shouldn't be a REQUIREMENT to finish a game, but it seems that with 3d Logic II, a walkthrough is not only a tool you'll use, but you'll use it often.
2/5. Lame story, lame presentation, lame everything besides the music, and even that gets tedious after a while.
PS: When you release a sequel, you usually add something new to the game. That doesn't include cheesy hack-job storylines and repetitive music. I expected so much more from this game.
This game is ass.
I'm very disappointed in you, kongregate. Lately you've been giving the shit games cards and badges in an effort to get people to play them, and that is not okay. If a new game isn't good, then give the card to a good classic game.
Perhaps its time to make a few quality games for Kongregate yourselves?
Also, I noticed that in later levels the powerups don't always appear in the boxes when you collect them. When multiple power-ups were introduced (IE: Side and forward shots) I no longer earned powerups when I collected them on their own.
You also change the controls to either WASD-Mouse or ZXC-Arrow Keys. Arrow Keys-Mouse is too constricted and close together. I think this game could really flourish with button commands for each powerup instead of having to click on them ;)
Wow, I was the first to play this one. Literally saw it while it still had 1 gameplay.
I like it, although the music could be livened up a little bit, and made more suitable to the game. It's weird playing a pixel-ly shooter and hearing Mission Impossible like music in the background :p
Fun game, but level 7 is more frustrating than fun. Game shouldn't cause you to tear the hair out your head, they should be enjoyable. 3/5. The saving grace was the music--If your game concept creating was as good as your music concept creating, this game could have easily been a 5/5.
Ugh, 2/5. The idea was obviously taken from the many other recent restauarant games, and while it's done fairly-well, not being alerted if there's customers waiting or if the pizzas times are ready makes things boring while switching through menus. Overall its unenjoyable, and certainly not worthy of FOUR badges. I mean, Jesus! Why do the overrated games always seem to take so many badges away? There ARE other games on this website you know...
MrM1ster, saying that this is a ripoff of TAO is like saying that Medal of Honor is a ripoff of Call of Duty. They're in the same genre, but they're different in some aspects. For instance, here you can alter the stats of your characters.
You know what this game needs? A difficulty setting that doesn't cause the characters to be super-intelligent. Why the hell can I not shake the guys off on the medium levels? Hell, no matter what I do they just stand there and wait for me to drop my shield/move someplace/etc., then somehow magically bring me from full to 1/4 health in a matter of one combo.
Major balance issues in this game. Not to mention that it gets pretty repetitive when you have all these cool characters, but not a single change in move sets when you switch between them.
This game is entirely badge-worthy. There's a badge for 3D Logic and there's walkthroughs for it. There's a badge for Starshine and there's a walkthrough for it.
I think this is deserving of an "Impossible" badge to finish with all 5 lives (No skips/fusestoppers used on levels they arent' needed on), and a "Hard" badge for just surviving the entire game.
Horrible, horrible game. The concept is good, but the difficulty level raises sharply, and the execution of the game is crap. Not badge-worthy, certainly not accomplishment worthy.
I ****ing hate that snake. 1 live left, just about there, then that ****ing snake pops up and I'm dead.
To be honest, this game sucks. The difficulty is far too high for my tastes, and there's no option to turn it down. There are music games that do rythm based puzzles better, and there are avoiding games that utilize features better.
2 stars.
WOW!
I just played this version, then your original version: HUGE IMPROVEMENT! (no offense)
I love it. The only way this could be better is if that there were just a handful more songs, and that unlockables didn't require "perfects". I think that "5 gold stars" instead of "5 perfects" would have been better.
Love this game, 5/5
for those who don't know, the reward for this game is a piece of armor that has probably some of the best stats for it's armor type. It's only on the Dragonfable website, though.
This game, honestly, sucks. It's far too luck dependent. I mean, come on: You're just barely sitting on the edge of the ramp, you're just getting the ramp to move towards the middle, and WHAM! 5 balls and 2 grow powerups hit you and you go flying off the side. It's not worth the badge.
