This is a fun and engaging game! I'm enjoying learning different combat techniques to use against different combinations of enemies. But I have two asks of the Developers: 1) Enemy placement on the very far right of the play-field obscures the level of the monster, so I can't see if it's a manageable battle (green/yellow/red #). Please move the right enemy placement limit in just a bit. 2) Please speed up the "Level Up" prompt appearing on the screen after a battle. I've lost count of the number of times I've finished a fight and then tried to click on either the loot or the next battle just to have the "Level Up" prompt appear under my click, and I instead accidentally increase the stats of the lessor character I DIDN'T want to get that level's bonus. Thanks for your consideration and also being one of the Developers who actively corresponds with the community!

Confused because mining Iron doesn't work? There's TWO TYPES of iron deposits: The most common is called "Iron Vein" which requires level 25 mining and a STEEL pickaxe (which you probably don't have yet). But the other deposits are simply called "Iron" that physically look a bit taller. They still require level 25 mining, but the base-level "IRON Pickaxe" can successfully be used on them. You can find both kinds of deposits, side-by-side in "Dungeon I" by coordinate (67,15). ("Dungeon I" is accessible from Dorpat.)
A challenging update to a great game! I'd like to suggest an additional badge to balance-off some of the 'Total Win' high numbers, which I suspect are players just re-running the same map over and over. An additional HARD badge should be: Win once using all 10 classes
It to 10 tries and almost 3 hours the last time, but my Warrior finally got the goblet and has 1 win!! So, umm... how come it's still only you, Justin, who has any wins in the Kongregate High Score tables?
@shiratzu O.K. I stand corrected on the cost of saving/restoring; thank you for the clarification. The screen isn't exactly clear on that, and this isn't a game where you can waste diamonds experimenting. HOWEVER, the fact that we need to have this conversation at all since players can have all their progress lost in the blink of an eye through no fault of their own -- especially when we're talking YEARS to get all achievements -- is still frustrating A.F.
OOoo... this one hurts. The Game resets, and I lost over a year of progress.... I was just a couple weeks away from getting Karma and Sutra to 'Lover'....... So I shake it off, tell myself it's my fault for not saving, and then I check the save mechanic and it's only available if I burn off Diamonds? I have to spend Premium Currency to protect myself from game resets I have no control over?? WTF? This game literally takes over two years to finish completely at optimum efficiency, and I have to sacrifice very limited in-game currency to safeguard against something I have no control over? Absolute B.S.!
I tried... tried playing this game, only because I'm a Kongregate badge whore. Fought the urge to Rage Quit through 2 of 4 badges. Now this crap is constantly hanging after every Daily Prize award is attempted and even after single hands of play! (Yes, even the hands where the AI just wins the hand before you get a chance to play at all.) Buggy (including be able to click for unlimited free coins), unstable, and ridiculously unbalanced play - an infuriating mess. Avoid at all costs.
Guild Bug: Why does the Guild Raid to Slay the North Goblin never reset? Perpetual 0/3 "Rides Today" available! No one's been able to attack for days, so it's impossible to advance!
@mohamadbasbous1 (and anyone else curious about pets, since I can't find any pet info anywhere else): I just got the first pet "Spirit of Water" as a drop from the Adventures - Campaigns. Per the pet hint that said (I think), "seen near the fort ruins," it dropped as one of the rewards for completing the 45 min "Fort Ruins" run my third(?) time through. Now, if I recall "Fort Ruins" was only available once I hit level 25, so that would be your minimum requirement cap for your first pet. If my logic holds, I will hopefully have a chance at the "Northern Wolf" dropping in the "Ships Graveyard" Campaign when that unlocks at Character Level 32, since his hint is: "Lives in the vicinity of the ship graveyard". Hope that helps. (And my guesses are right.)
Wait... so the damage you do and hit points you have is figured out by the sum total of what you OWN, and has NOTHING to do with what you actually have equipped? I just beat the Skeleton Archer buck naked and with my bare hands. How does THAT make sense from any Fantasy RPG perspective?
[[SPOILER ALERT:]]
So, you win battle #400 (which is basically the same as all the rest), and... nothing? No fanfare? No change in gameplay? (And no Dragon, per the game's namesake?)
Just your squad standing around wondering if it's worth it to just go back to re-grind the 400 battles endlessly? What's the point?
If, to quote the instructions, "The goal of the game is to gather the best squad of heroes to complete the storyline raid to the end..." then HAVE something at end of that raid storyline to celebrate the player's success!
Can someone have words with the Blacksmith? I'm tired of his "Find the item:" quests when I have exactly what he wants already sitting unused in my inventory. Why can't he see them? What's wrong with them?
Just discovered you can (and have to) scroll item descriptions: until now I had no idea that SET ITEMS existed because that info was a few blank lines(!?) below the %modifier info... so well below the visible info.
@vadhaghl: I agree this game is frustrating, and it's made for the express purpose of attracting new players and encouraging them to pay to play. However, my comment was a response to the numerous posters complaining about the popups every level. The developers DID put in the UNcheck "Share" way to turn those off ...they didn't have to.
OK... I was equally annoyed when it started prompting me to post after every level. HOWEVER, then - at the bottom of the "Victory" screen when you complete a level - I spotted where you can UNCHECK the "Share" offers. Credit where credit is due: the developers DID put in a way to stop the Share prompts.
Solid unique concept. But success seems very-much tied to the RNG that dictates how many shrines you'll run into. I really wish the treasures gave your character additional bonuses to max stats that carried forward into new games, because after several plays I've only found endless socks and die around floor 4/5. If treasures aided growth at least then I'd see some progression and could look forward to consistently getting to deeper floors.
