Waaaaiiit... the math here doesn't add up. 1 to the power of 1.4 is not 1.4. I admittedly have no idea how to calculate that. But I know for certain in this case the outcome is 1. Is the Developer in league with Sponge Bob?
jcheung: I understand the basic mechanics of the device, though I appreciate the clarification. The description does not match the function, however. "Takes heat from adjacent tiles if amount is over (a rising number based on the research level) and sells it all at once." The rising number starts at 18000 and grows with the research level. The max heat is listed as 2000. It seems that the needed heat is ever increasing. Eventually the needed heat to sell will be higher than that of the available battery. None of this makes any real sense to me. And it doesn't match what I'm seeing the item do. It is difficult to plan when the stated statistics can not match the items observed and apparently intended function. *Shrug* If you have a better understanding of the details please share. Thank you in advance and for the earlier clarification. - Selva
Banks are WAY overpriced for what they can return. You need trillions before they can start to every pay for themselves. On a bank of 3 billion+ An island of 20 apx returns 190 per tick. 800 mil returns 190 per tick.
Could some slightly clearer description of how boiler houses work please be forth coming? Right now it says that it sells heat when the heat is 9 times (18,000) the max heat the thing can handle. (2000) And that number increases with the purchase of upgrades. (Level 4 sells at 69,149) So... Huh?
Never mind. I was wrong. It has nothing to do with castles. At some random point in the game I simply stop being able to attack. And if I board on these battles I automatically loose. No enemy casualties. (Even to a MUCH smaller ship.)
Gave it a fair chance. Game is boring. The story... *yawn*. The game gets bonus points for having a mute button. The music gets tedious more or less immediately. (It's sort of exactly like every other game in this genre) The mechanics almost don't need me to be here for them. The 1st 10-15 battles literally bore nor useful decisions for me to make. It's not like I'm learning the ins and outs of a complex system here. And then, to cap it all off, an ENERGY SYSTEM. Just put those 2 words on this games grave stone. It's better than the Mobile Dungeon Keeper... (Which is like saying a movie is better than "Flesh for the Beast") but I'm not giving this... program... any money either. *Blech*
I have more academies than kittens. Who teaches at an empty academy? Who teaches at the ones with only 1 lonely kitten. We don't exactly have any cats for this...
I like the concept, but can not deal with the basic design flaw. No matter what web site hosts it there are all sorts of gadgets surrounding the game that will go to another window and completely negate the level you are on. So no matter how close I get to winning level 2 there's always a next window or a go to this game or this profile that ends my progress. And with the speed the game moves at, it's nearly impossible for me to avoid clicking outside the game area. So I give up. On level 2. Thanks to the ultimate enemy weapon: my Kongregate profile e-mail. Sadly. 1 star. Let me know if anyone finds a fix for this.
So... Since the placement of the units seems to be purely cosmetic. May I request a way to move an existing unit to a new location without having to delete it and start over?
The calculation is actually (a*b*c)^d + d-1 But i removed that since it wasnt clear and so many people are bothered by that.
