Why have the upgrades if you aren't allowed to use them?
restricting higher level upgrades to later levels where the enemies are automatically tougher is like simply not bothering with weapon or enemy progression. It certainly takes all of the fun out of buying the upgrades if you can't go back to an earlier level and annihilate the peons with vastly superior fire power. Is it to try to keep the earlier levels challenging? 'Cause they are, you know, EARLIER levels for a reason. Sorry about the rant. I'm just confused as to where this is helping anything.
Constructive critique is always helpful. I do understand your points. The idea with the upgrade limit, however, is to make the medal scores valid for all levels, otherwise only the scores of the last levels would be meaningful, leaving the other scores redundant.
Seems explanations come in later levels for the power ups. Might want to have explanations when the power ups become available folks. Not 4 or 5 levels later.
I pay a yearly fee to not have to look at ads on Kongregate. I do NOT appreciate games trying to force them (ads) on me after a few levels. (And it locked itself up in the process to boot.)
Suggestion: I would find it useful to be able to look at the raw stats on the various commodities. (Probably in one of those hover over tool tips that everything else gets.) Specifically total income and total outflow for each commodity. I would also find it useful to be able to put custom labels on individual items. This is the Southern windmill or the number six iron mine etc. (This would help me keep track of supply chains.) I might also put in a request for an easy to access toggle switch to turn on and off the tool tips. They can sometimes get in the way. But this is a quibble, not an issue. Overall I am really liking this. Thanks for listening and keep up the good work my friends!
May i put in a request for a "Transfer center?" Where different types of flow (Liquid, Energy, physical) can cross each other? It's not a huge deal since (spoiler deleted) but it would definitely make certain set ups neater. (More orderly.)
I was liking this till the "Put 5 extractors in H" exorcise. Seems not in tune with the game and pretty much impossible for me. (I did the browser zoom thing. There simply isn't space.) Sooooo...
I have the income, I have the factory and I have everything connected. However, I have no "Steel" income to show for it. Am I missing something or is there a glitch
If you bought an outpost already it could take all your steel, since it demands a lot to start. If so - fell free to sell it, you will get your steel back.
okay. playing this for a week. Bored now. Progression is WAY too slow. Most of the time rewards for stronger monsters are not worth it over weaker monsters with lower rewards but who die significantly faster. And frankly, there's just not enough for me to be doing here. Sort of a single track of progression, lots of time waiting for something to happen and little reward for it. Better luck next time guys.
You select language the very first thing. Why does it load other languages once you have selected the relevant one? Seems to waste time and bandwidth...
Thanks for the comment. Your point is valid.
The idea behind loading all languages are based on 2 facts:
1. The all dictionaries are bundled to reduce the size of 36 MB to 9 MB
2. User can select or change the languages inside the game at many occasions, I thought that it would not be good to process the dictionary each time user change to a new language.
I would be happy to listen back from you.
