This game is amazingly detailed. Only issue i have with it is that the camera keeps moving when i disassemble parts. Might be a way to change that, and i just havent found it yet though.
I dont think you realize just how fast numbers grow when you use exponential growth (I.E. doubling or tripling the price of upgrades each time)
For example, no one will ever have 1000 mana, and no one will ever make over $1000 per turn (which really isn't that much).
The combat system is meaningless, as the rewards are practically worthless compared to the resources you put into upgrades.
It's a good game, but feels incomplete, as it is, its not an idle game, its a grinding game.
3/5 for now.
I read your update about how you believe you've fixed the invest boxes. Mine were still reverting to lvl 1, until i hit invest lvl 5. now it seems to be working properly.
I'm loving this game. It brings something new to the genre of TD, though there are a few things i'd like to see changed. So here is my list of suggestion, which i think could make the game slightly better:
In-battle upgrade of support towers. For example, use 50 crystals to increase range/attack/exp bonus by an additional 15%.
Additional support towers, such as fire-rate, extra gold per kill and adding burn/poison/damage over time-effect.
Like someone else mentioned, smaller blocks, which would allow for a bigger map.
And i would also like to be able to see what the effect of the upgrades to the various towers are going to be before i upgrade, so i can decide whether to do it or not.
All in all, a great game, a strong 4/5 and a favorite. Feels like a stepping stone to something greater, so keep up the good work!
I found a glitch.
I just lost a match in the middle room, of the floor with the three teleporters, when i came back, i was outside the wall, with no way of getting back in. According to the map, this is the only room available.
i came here because i saw the picture, then glanced at the name, and thought it said "endless war Z".. i assumed it was some sort of tank-vs-zombie-survival game. Someone should make one of those.
To me, right from the start, this seems like an obvious remake of Clash of the Olympians, by ironhide studios, and i will grant you, its not a bad remake, though there are certain issues that have been pointed out, the game has potential, and is definitely entertaining. For now though, id rather just play through Olympians again. i give it a strong 3 to a weak 4.
Am i the only one experiencing a glitch in the sound? Seems shots and music stop making noise after about 2 minutes of playing. Though i can still hear explosions.
This is easily one of the best games ive played in a long time, and i look forward to you making and adding new things, and improving it. 5/5 and faved.
One small suggestion here: how about scaling the health of something based on the mass?
I know, planets have less health than stars, but i noticed when i smashed two stars together, that the mass went up, but the health stayed the same.. makes sense to me, that, if the object is made larger, it would take more to destroy..
Anyway, keep up the great work!
Very good idea, it's been noted, and I think I could add it pretty easily. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'm excited to see where it goes! ***Edit: I made the health scale according to mass, which is currently calculated only when they absorb other objects, but after I release the mass gun, it will work with that too.
would be fun if i could increase the acceleration somehow.
Still, great game, and i love that the developer listens to the commenters.
5/5 all the way.
this game is fantastic! would be even better if there was a player-operated weapon of some kind. would let people play it more actively. as it is, its just click and wait.
Ok, been playing this game for a while now, and im enjoying it, even spent some of my hard earned(yeah right) Kreds on it. Still a couple of bugs to be sorted out, but all in all a decent game. gave it a 4/5 and a favorite.
there are a couple of things i would like to see, for one, a more detailed description of what putting multiple points into one ability does, other than unlock further abilities in that chain.
Second, i'd like the option of upgrade my current equipment in the Blacksmith, in addition to forging new stuff.
And, as someone suggested, adding rings to the game, which give abilities would be pretty cool.
other than this, its a great game, well made.
