Neat idea, but too often gameplay grinds to a halt as you try and find your way from A to B... the central mechanic doesn't make this intuitive at all, so it ends up being trial and error. Perhaps it's the fault of the level design. I wonder if Fez plays similarly?
Interesting idea, there might be something to this game if the objective wasn't simply to find your way out of a maze; it's just not particularly taxing.
You know I can't remember if I liked the first game. Maybe this kind of lateral thinking game was new to me then and I didn't mind it. Who knows. I found this one terminally boring.
