I guess it's almost a playable version of Lemmings. It's not obvious what things do, tho, you have to try them out, and the game is far too slow and fiddly to make doing that fun.
Yey! Nothing much new here, and it didn't give me too much trouble completing it, but I just really like playing this game :) Hey, you know what I'd like for this? A level editor!!!
Good to see this isn't just a rehash of the first game. It's ok, too, although there's still a bit too much slowly moving inevitably toward your goal. Level 7 took a couple of goes.
Pretty good. I like the western theme. Not *quite* as nicely curved out as Cursed Treasure, tho. Tecumseh, especially, might be a bit overpowered; the whole point of ninjas in Cursed Treasure was to make you shift your tower placement around, and Tecumseh not only removes this aspect from the game by seeing invisible units but also encourages you to cluster all your other units around him. Still pretty cool tho.
Above average concept; way below average experience/resource metagame. The game rarely presents you with a challenge which is balanced towards your gameplay skills.
Dude that sphere is way, way too big. Hunting around on it's surface is much more tedious than a puzzle game should be. Also, recovering from an accidental placement is really hard. I mean, yeah, sure, that's all part of the skill of the game, but it's harder than Bubble Spinner. Have you PLAYED Bubble Spinner?
Not entirely sure what you're up to spending all that time "hunting around the sphere" really.. =P And it's not thaaat hard to recover, not if you take it easy anyways. ;) And nope, I haven't PLAYED that game, haha. Looked like a nice take on bubble bobble though. Cheers!
Obviously inspired by The Company Of Myself; not as good, but it leaves me wanting more from this developer. I felt it could use some more challenging gameplay.. it worked for games like Braid and Don't Look Back, so why not?
Pretty average match 3 with a tiny amount of strategy thrown in. Waving items around the screen in the shop is largely pointless but the match 4/5 bonus tiles give you a little some extra to think about; sometimes it even feels like the bonus tiles effect how you're doing on the level. The individual levels are way too long and my eyes dry out because I don't blink enough playing it :P Overall, I much preferred Elements of Arkandia.
A great little game, although having already cut my teeth on such tough programming games as Manufactoria and Zachtronic's own SpaceChem, I found it a little on the easy side. Play this first is my advice!
