Weird, this game has extremely negative or extremely positive reviews. I am firmly on the negative side, however, and shall be as long as things are as difficult to hit. You shouldn't have to be brilliant at aiming to be able to easily hit the fighters on level 1....
Oh, and by 'games without incredibly complex graphics' I mean those that are either geometric or have a simpler art style. Rather than someone trying to show you ever little bump on a ship. The game is cluttered enough as it is....
You are in space, so there is no air resistance to slow the shots down, therefore they should move faster. Not slower. Also, why should I have to aim a third of a screen above or below a ship to actually hit it?
Why should we rate the game on how much effort has gone into it? Someone could spend a year doing a game incredibly complex with about 5,000,000,000 lines of code. But if it was incredibly boring and had little point to it it would be rated badly. You're saying that it should be rated highly because it's complex. Sometimes simple is better. Like how the games without incredibly complex graphics seem to be rated highly consistently. :)
For a supposedly ultra gun it isn't that much good. It basically fires big missiles in the direction of your enemies who spend most of their time so far to the right that they've gone halfway up or down the screen before your shots even get there. Plus they can hit you from anywhere in the screen with no problems. Added in to the fact that you can only really hit at them when you can see your ship as well, is it a surprise everyone is dying and finding it hard?
Ship reminds me of the human ship from Halo 3 and the Vaygr Carriers from Homeworld 2. O_o
So it doesn't matter that people like it? It only matters that a minority of people think it isn't a good game? The voting for games is democratic, remember - what the majority likes is acknowledged as a better game by the site itself. :P
This is rated so high because people like this sort of thing. Playing a music-related game with any music you like is enjoyable to lots of people. If they don't like the music they find some they do like. And you get to catch colourful shapes. =D
Why bother giving us a gun at all? Even if you lead your shots in front of the enemy they still miss, the shots generally hitting nothing or something you didn't want to shoot. It's only reliable at hitting capital ships - just because they're slow moving and a big target. Can we PLEASE have an upgrade in which we increase the shot travel speed? Also, for such a huge ship with a large gun, why is it so vulnerable to the initial tiny fighter things?
There's nothing wrong with my computer, for the person who said unresponsive controls may be down to computers. I can run things like Oblivion with most of the graphics settings on their best settings, but these controls only work about a tenth of the time, most of the time the combos fail.... Satan overuses his Cerberus attack, as well. And Cerberus is a Greek myth, what's it doing here? O_o
Fix the controls, please. Then it would be entertaining. As it is I think I've got 1 KO out of something like 11 rounds. That was with Noah against Mary....
2/5. Your snake is just a chain of boxes, it increases in size too fast, your cube has no top or bottom, the old snake 2 game (the black and white one on old phones) had more entertainment because it had more than one thing to eat... and you didn't make it possible to turn off the damn music. >_>
It is still a game. Games do not necessarily have an end. If I can get help with that healthbar, and spend a lot more time on this, I SHOULD be able to make it more interesting.
