Since stars become useless after the last weapon is bought, would you consider modifying the last gun so that it fires stars (exploding rounds) and bullets when stars are exhausted?
Needs some work. Controls are sloppy (which doesn't make up for calling it "Drunken"). Boxers snap in half way too easily and continue to fight when pushed out of the ring. It is fun, but only for a few minutes. The credits and control display look excellent though.
Needs a unit recall button for when your units pass the enemy and bunch up on the far side (requiring manual relocation). Alternately, have units that reach the end of the screen retire, so new units can be hired.
Base seems pretty poorly defended. Would like to see base defense upgrades in the shop (more defense units, barricades, barbed wire). Desperately need a night scope, light upgrades or flares.
Enjoyed throwing crates even if I couldn't break them. Battles were rather boring but the dialog and story made up for it. Looking forward to 2nd chapter.
Level 3: Take only the spy ship, maneuver northward to find the repair ship and take it to the 1st transport (middle of the map, far left). Once repaired, escort the ships back to the drop zone. For the 2nd leg, only use the spy ship. Navigate north and a bit right, to the top of the map to find the 2nd fleet. Take only transport and spy ship. Navigate midway down the map until the battle begins. Wait and observe the attack pattern. Watch a few attack waves. Note when enemy reinforcements appear from sides and make your run after the enemy is in the center of the map (and yellow is winning). Take your ships straight south (avoiding detection rings) to the bottom of the map. Hug the bottom until directly below the drop zone. Send transport up to the drop point. Win.
Love the game. 5/5 & Favorited, however level 3 is really annoying. It would help if fleet could be instructed to hold position in formation (not zoom ahead) and adding save points where each fleet is found would help a lot.
Enjoyed the music. Needs some automation to control purchases, bribes and hiring thugs. Way too much clicking buttons as it is. It's a good start. 4/5.
Sounds like an idea for sequel :)
