It took me a long, embarrassing time before I realized I could double-jump (after I first died in the very long gap around 900). It took me a longer, more embarrassing time to notice the "buy upgrades" button. It took me an even longer, even more embarrassing time to notice that there was a "How to Play" button on the main screen.
@SoftHard THPS is a world famous franchise, so I doubt there's too many people around who wouldn't get the reference (even if nobody seems to be able to recognize the guy face to face)
@zanegia doesn't take away ALL of your progress, just an amount each hit that you can see right next to his ability. The idea is to get strong enough before fighting him that every loss you take is a drop from an ocean.
I misread the easy badge at first, thought it was "Collect 50 stars in day one". I kept restarting again and again, thinking "how on Earth is this an easy badge?"
...oh, goddammit. I have all of Links and Squared done, and I'm more than halfway through Plus... on their website, so it's under a different username. I don't suppose there's an export/import feature hidden anywhere? Otherwise I'll have to do them all again.
@flaviusbadge what are you talking about? I started the game today, and just got the hard badge. It's time consuming, sure, but not impossible. (and you can get Burmese just by your computer's date, btw)
I made it to level 39 before I realized that I could move. Turns out that just staying immobile in the middle and pointing from there makes it easier to keep track of the pointer too, go figure.
