This has to be the hardest game I've ever played, but after a lot of effort I finally managed to squeeze out a win. Now to get started on the post-game content...
@victonio yeah, the game has a lot of issues. Not to mention that it doesn't even bother adding more than 1 sprite for each character, which is almost the height of laziness when most are 8x8 pixels. As for preference, I used the Gremlin Priest (fast attack, cure wounds, and magic jump which isn't quite as good as flying but it's not unplayable) and yes, the Thunder Dragon, which is the only usable dragon (including Platinum and Bahamut). I'm disappointed that, as far as I could find, there are no flying units with Cure Wounds. More than that... the gameplay is repetitive, the abilities are badly designed (I think the Gremlin Priest is the only character that will see you using all 3 of its abilities), the dungeon map is too big for the very few variants of the map you can get, and for me honestly the worst part was the dungeon boss being a generic enemy you can easily encounter in that one map where bosses appear in the top right.
Man, does this game like me to misidentify animals. "That's a cat!": Giant rat. "That's a dog!": Deer. "That's another dog!": Walrus with legs (why is Walrus with legs even a thing?)
If there's anyone around who still hasn't played this game, here's some advice: if you care about good scored and/or getting in-game medals, don't ever upgrade your health (you need that for the last medal and you can't undo it without resetting everything, and you can't get an S in a level if you got hit more than twice anyway).
Can I offer some constructive criticism? You need to cool it with the exclamation marks. I'm like 5 minutes into the game and the exclamation marks outnumber every other punctuation mark combined by a ratio of at least 5 to 1.
Land: 4400. Buildings: 2934. Houses: 7. Ok, seriously, what's going on here? Does the RNG hate me that much or is this achievement supposed to be this hard to get? I got all the others hours ago. The worst part is that what you get with it is... better houses, which would've been useful to, y'know, get the achievement in the first place.
@bonestheninja not impossible, but if you don't ignore the game's stupid advice (that doesn't even matter yet) the first time around, you're gonna have a pretty hard time depending on how you spent your points. DO plant on the crystals, then on the well, then sell the one you planted on the crystals, use symbiosis on the well plant, take the other well as soon as you can, and the level should be done fairly quickly.
