For the final boss: Use Time Machine as soon as the battle starts, you'll get free shots before he summons anything. Ignore the towers and the enemies they spawn, they go down to a single shot from the rocket guy, and he'll prioritize them. Use Bomb of Duty and Time Machine as soon as they're available, always on the boss. Use Air Strike whenever the mooks pass the halfway point of the screen, but don't be afraid to use it whenever you feel confident you can hold until the cooldown is done. The only enemies with higher priority than the boss are hackers and fliers, leave the rest to your teammates and your bombs. If you lose a few lives that's fine, you're not getting any gems from this anyway so as long as you have at least 1 life when it's over you're good.
If you're having trouble with the golem level, use the Shark guy. Fully upgrade the farm first, the foundry and the mill afterwards, and only then begin with the castle. As soon as your enemy starts moving to attack your completely undefended castle, use your first spell. If you can manage to use it again before they get to the castle, do so and wait it out (I did, but only just), otherwise use your second spell to send them back to theirs. by the time you've have stalled them enough to finally have enough to start making your own golems. Keep them back unless they're attacking with ballistae, and when they get close to your castle, switch to attack, freeze them, and let your golems destroy them all while they're helpless, use your second spell if you're caught in the middle or if an enemy managed to get past your units and starts hitting the castle. Repeat until you have enough golems to storm their castle.
Man, I don't like this game, I don't even like the Nanaca-Crash-Clone genre in general, but... damn, does it ever feel good to put all these shiny Kongpanions to work. The screen is so crowded full of floating crowned mascots that I can't even see my armadillo any more.
oh wow, and I thought there couldn't be a worse game than Flood Runner 3. The developers really went out of their way to make the game even shittier this time around. It's a shame I can't give less than 1 star; I'm kinda tempted to go give the other one 2 stars so that this one can be lower but I wouldn't want to be dishonest.
Holy shit was that hard to earn. Ok, seen a couple comments telling people to camp on the right corner: don't do that, it's very easy to get boxed in when you can only dodge left. Instead, stay about 3/4ths of the way right, that way you can still dodge right and still have enough advance warning about the pillars (or better yet, memorize the song, they always come in the same places)
Something definitely gets wonky with gold when you go fast enough. If I slow down enough to do the math it all works out, but how did I get from less than 1k to over 200k gold in a few minutes of training fights when I'm getting around 400 per fight? I mean, I'm not complaining, but...
"yelling at an inanimate object is a waste of breath" That's not something a programmer would ever say. YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, RAE
(I'm not even close to up to date, so don't mind me if I'm missing something from later)
@FarFromGruntled yeah, I'm getting that from the rest of the comments. Me, I just got it after my first kill (a bee-like thing, if it helps) in my second or third try, then stopped playing immediately since I could already tell this is a horrible, terrible excuse for a game, so I didn't experience that issue. Perspective is everything, I guess.
On second look, it seems to be entirely luck-based and I just got lucky the first time. Yeah, this is a shit game and an ever shittier pick for Badge of the Day.
@FarFromGruntled, come on, it's not that hard. Superman powerups start to appear pretty early, especially if you stay in the clouds. Once you get it, killing an enemy with it is as trivial as finding one, the big things near the bottom are ideal because they're a big target and stay still.
