well.. +1 for not being an idle game so 2/5. I'd give another half for the music being appealing but that isn't an option and p2w games are just as bad as idle....you know 1/5
well...it isn't an idle game so +1. But the game isn't anything interesting, it is short and linear. The thought that you want people to pay for this is amazing to me. Also calling it redline game me the hopes that it was going to be ...well comparable to the movie with the same name (it is basically speed racer on cocaine)
Generally I had fun, it isn't an idle game which is always a plus. I got to 3 stars before I got bored though. There is no sense of progression. You fight the same enemies on the same maps and at a certain point you becomes completely overpowered. I had an over 50% crit rate on a crit focused bow with an insane attack speed and regen was high enough by the time I walked to new enemies I was back to full. Even the last boss I fought posed no danger as I just stood there and shot until it died.
Whenever that happens, what you have to do is go to the far right, thereby getting rid of the remaining boxes. If there's only 1 or 2 boxes left, it'll let you go on to the next stage, otherwise, it simply resets the stage. This gets rid of the issue of being soft-locked. It explains this in the tutorial, and if you didn't do the tutorial, in your first few games a text should appear above your player after a while if you haven't broken any boxes for a while. It says "stuck? go to the far right." (I'm not 100% sure, but something like that.)
super because you clearly have problems let me help you. You are not required to kill all the enemies to advance, bats move every time you do. This includes when you 'hit' an enemy or box
I'm a fan of challenging don't get me wrong, but as others have pointed out the traps seem to exist in a way to force you to crawl rather than actually play. I also have no idea what most items do and there isn't a way to check once you pick them up....but it isn't an idle game so that is sadly a plus nowadays 3/5
It is good but super imbalanced. I got to stage 5 (to avoid spoiling anything) some cards seem to exist to counter a specific foe/stage like cleave for 4 but then IMMEDIATELY becomes a waste of hand space because it is then countered on 5. Sure you can respec but that means each stage must be played 'blind' to figure out what you are looking for. 4/5
Pretty good but one suggestion: every enemy besides mushrooms have some 'tell' that they are going to attack, the golem has one for each attack. The mushroom (particularly the boss) just attacks seemingly at random. In fact I would say it is by far the hardest boss in the game because if you aren't powered up enough it can become nearly impossible as the endless swarm becomes harder to manage and his waves of attacks mean you are getting hit.
Thank you for your feedback. That's why i only make it short game. This is a prototype version before i move on next larger scale " I Want to Unconditionally Love You". But for now, i will just prepare this game for android platform with another 50-100 scenes normal spot different thing
i have been adding a lot of content over the years and kongregate agreed to give the game some extra attention for a few days. I made a small change in the tutorials hopefully making it less boring. Thanks for the comment!
wait people are complaining about the difficulty? What? I got to the fish before I got completely bored. Sorry but none of the normal stages feel different and it is just a grind to get to each boss who has a basic attack pattern. But it is a real game and not a money grab or idle game. . .4/5
Thank you very much for the 4/5 vote !! I'm collecting player comments and gaining more experience with all this. This will serve a lot for my upcoming games.
I got to wave 8 before I got bored and quit. Please add some kind of 'call next wave' button and a bit of consistency would be great (the first cannon fires random amounts of bullets which bounce quite randomly)
that said it isn't an idle game . . . which sadly is all it takes to get a good rating from me these days 4/5
it reminds me of one of the most fair but ultra annoying games on steam which I absolutely have a hate/love relationship with 5/5
Also tip for everyone: each enemy behaves in an exact way, whether with each beat or each other beat (and yes I know there is no music here)
It is fun but honestly I wish it was faster. I'm not sure what I mean it just feels slow and if it was maybe half hour 'games' or with any kind of goal in mind it would be more enjoyable. 4/5
fun, it even has the best parts of megaman. . . like jumps that rely on knowing exactly where you 'step off' the platform and you must jump exactly then and a boss that spends half the time being impossible to hit.
joking aside it was fun and I hope you add more stages
