idk if my standards have lowered because it seems that almost all games are idle now but this was pretty fun. But why even have a separate training tab? Cities can do exactly 1 thing. And in the future please make it more noticeable who owns which city (the tiny yellow ring on a sand background isn't entirely obvious especially when clicking 5+ units around
It's probably sad to say I give games a +1 for not being an idle game nowadays. Honestly this isn't the worst game I've played this year even as far as 'jams' go but it is also something I am glad ended in under 10 minutes and will never play again
I enjoyed it for a little while but by stage 11 I was so bored I quit. A few things: Do upgrades actually do anything? speed/magnet don't feel like they do much. I mean I know they do because I can outrun the damage soak mobs
2) any plans to fix the 'blob' problem? eventually the entire game becomes a giant mass of zombies in the middle that don't really do anything. I mean I know you only have 3 common enemies but still (we can argue but you have 1 ranged unit, 1 anti flamethrower unit, and damage soaks)
it is fun for. . . like 2 minutes? but despite I am not so much thinking as just pressing directions asap and yet I have over 100 lives saved up it gets old and pointless fast (arcade mode review) 2/5
it is fun but I don't think that airdropping bombs is the intended way to beat the army wave. basically just stand there and when 5-6 come jump over them drop a bomb and wait for them all to explode
Thank you for playing skaliton! That's great that you had fun playing =) You found a good strategy to defeat the Army Ants. Enemies can be stacked and killed with 1 bomb or 1 arrow, too. Kiting is king!
It was fun and short enough that it wasn't awful 4/5 but in the future please make the text things less annoying (yes we all get the bird person joke. . . but don't make me fall off the slime) and maybe allow for slightly more error. Most of my deaths involved him bumping his head off the roof mid dash
a few things: make it clear that you don't have to match 3 in a move
and please fix the colors. half the battle seems to be figuring out which blue blob is the specific one
player tips: don't over think just move at all times
do you just recycle your other games? I haven't played them all but this is a bit better than CaC but uses all of the same graphics, items, and now has some major lag problems (budgy suggests a memory leak)
on one hand this isn't an idle game so I want to encourage you to continue making it. on the other this is the least interesting rpg I have ever played, it is nothing but an extended fetch quest and the combat is stale by the 3rd fight
It has a simple premise to it, but with this update it will start finally introducing the storyline and becoming much more difficult. Hope you still will try to craft and conquest! A lot of the strategy of the game is figuring out how to be the most efficient with your gathering and defeating monsters. As you progress more difficulties ulock and pose more of a challenge. If you have any questions just lmk !
Suggestion concerning random damage. I understand the logic behind it but please make it less random 0-10 damage reduction is a HUGE dice roll and if the game decides you are going to die, well your 20 hp isn't going to save you from those 3 arrows
maybe my standard for 'good' has gotten low because of all the trash idle games but I enjoyed it. I'd recommend lowering the cost to win though. Honestly once I figured it out and got to 2k savings the rest of it was just pointlessly watching as the money increased and I wasn't in any danger
Yeah, maybe I should've made the Ogre Slayer a bit cheaper. I'd change it, but I don't think it would be fair to lower it now, as people have already gotten high scores as it currently is. Glad you enjoyed it!
great game, and everyone complaining about restarting a level . . . oh right you don't remember the old days where you had to restart constantly (I'm sure I will get downvoted for this but compared to super mario world on SNES this was nothing . . . yes I caught the similarity)
One thing the end of 'run' I think it was called is unfair, having a timed stage with a drop you can't see means virtually everyone will die there once for no reason other than 'didn't know I had another platform there'
I wanted to enjoy this, because hey it isn't an idle game and apparently that is now my standard of a decent game on this site
It seems from your comments that you don't want an unlimited inventory. . . why? I spend more time wandering back and forth trying to figure out
1) What items are 'interactable' as more than 'this is a desk' than anything
followed by 2) where did I leave the item that may get used here?
I didn't even get to anything 'scary' because I got so bored wandering around the empty house
The reason for not having an unlimited inventory was so that you can't just go around trying every object until it works. It forces you to think about which item you need. I tried to make the descriptions of objects you can use an item on quite clear. An object description will give a good clue as to what item is needed and point out something unusual about the object. Whereas an object which does nothing will have a description that implies that. However, I'll take your comments on board for my next game. Thanks.
I enjoyed it but . . . wait you tricked me into thinking an idle 'game' was a game at all? I guess it being short meant the trick worked because I only realized I wasn't doing anything after the 2nd princess.
